Our stay at this home was terrific! The house is clean and spacious with wonderful amenities. This isa fantastic value! We enjoyed the paddle boat more than we anticipated. Our (adult) kids caught several fish from the dock and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck taking in the view. We easily visited the Dells and Devil's Lake State Park during our stay. I highly recommend this home for vacationing or a get-away. It is large enough and comfortable enough for a couple families. We hope to rent this same home the next time we visit the area.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities.

This was our first experience renting a vacation home. We will definitely do it again. This property was beyond our expectations. It had everything we needed and more. There were no surprises or issues with anything. The property was very clean and well-maintained and had plenty of room for us. The owner was very easy to work with and very helpful in renting the property. Her hospitality, as shown in the way she dealt with us on the phone and in the welcoming nature of the house, enabled us to have a very good stay (and she was very prompt in returning our deposit). The location was perfect for what we wanted to do: biking on the State 400 Trail, House on the Rock, Devil's Lake State Park and Baraboo. We ate at Calabria Pizza and Cancun Restaurant. The rest of the time we grilled on the deck overlooking the lake or made our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. We spent most of our relaxing time on the deck under the canopy by day and under the stars by night. We would definitely recommend this property.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This was our first experience renting any vacation property. We weren't sure what to expect, but after this experience we can't wait to do it again. What a beautiful home, well decorated and laid out with all the ameneties and your comfort in mind. It was the heat of a terrible drought at the time, but the home was air-conditioned and and we found lot's of things to do to fill up our time. The deck had a sun/rain blocking awning available and even a fan. Hammock type folding chairs were great. Just a great, relaxing eperience all the way around.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, people with disabilities.

My family and I had a wonderful time relaxing in this very comfortable home. The home is very tastefully decorated with lovely antiques. The owners have thought of everything to make guests comfortable, extra towels and linens, full kitchen with spices and plenty of cookware and dishes, as well as labels on the light switches! We enjoyed the remote area in the evenings and the kids enjoyed going out on the paddle-boat. During the days we visited the Dell's area and Devil's Lake State Park. We would highly recommend this home to anyone planning to visit the area.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities.

Thank you Shahana for opening your doors yo us for this great July 4th weekend. The week we stent in this house was great. The owners really took care of us by supplying us with everything we might need from toiletries to a 4 persons paddle boat. House is very clean, comfortable and very specious. Kids enjoyed fishing and adult just to sit back and admire nature. The neighborhood is very quite. Close to Devil's Lake as well as to Dells(about 20 min drive). The only down side to this was due to extremely hot weather, algae was found in the water and we could not swim. (although we did before we knew about it and that was great) however it did not stop us from enjoying this trip. We went to Devil's lake every day and that Lake is the Best. Use the north side of the lake since its more sandy. better for the kids. thank you for a great stayRecommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay here. It is great for older folks as well as couples with young children -- we enjoyed the scenery and landscaping from the deck while my son and family fished and cruised the lake in the 4-person paddle boat. The owners supplied everything one could need -- from laundry detergent to dinner service. The furnishings were beautiful and the art work delightful. The air conditioner was excellent as was the lighting in every room. We also enjoyed the game table and other games provided for us. It was a pleasure getting to know the owner through phone calls and emails. We actually made our arrangements by phone, since I'm not that computer literate! The location was perfect for us, since we have relatives in Reedsburg. (There are also excellent eating places there.) The Dells is very close; and my son and family spent one day at a water park there. If we had had more time, we would have gone to Devil's Lake State Park and Baraboo; however, we were there to relax -- and relax we did! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. Owner response: I am glad you had a relaxing time and enjoyed your stay. I would like this place to be for all my guests as I would like it for myself. Thank you for the wonderful review and look forward to other guests having the same experience as you.

We rented this home for 4 days, and one day we invited ten others to stay with us, and we had plenty of room for everyone. The third day we hosted a family picnic, and again it had perfect surroundings for our group. No one was crowded. The home has adequate room to never feel crowded. The home has beautiful furnishings, and we felt so very much at home. We loved being on the deck facing the water and also being by the pier with guests fishing as well as..'catching'. Some good sized fish in the lake, too. The owners are extremely easy to converse with and all they want is someone that respects their home and their neighbors while using their beautiful home. They have just thought of everything to make their guests feel welcomed and at home. We've rented homes before, this was the best 'people we've rented from', The others were also nice, but these are some very special, caring people. We thank them for having such a lovely clean home for us to use. We highly recommend this to good people. We think it is fine for anyone with disabilities as they can use first floor and deck. Not sure about width of bathroom doors if wc is used. Check with owners, but it worked great for me and I'm semi-disabled. I loved it....just loved it. Home appears smaller online than it actually is. I can't count the times we were so glad they had this or that there, we found everything we needed and then some. I hope they were as satisfied with us as we were with them. It is about a mile to Reedsburg, for those that wish to shop or be without a car. It is about fifteen minutes from the Wisconsin Dells, so it is perfect, quiet yet close to many fun adventures. Location
Owner info
Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: My husband and I are both retired and we now spend time travelling around the country/world experiencing other cultures. This is our second home so we do spend a lot of time there visiting our children and grand children. The area provides diversified entertainment and hence the frequent visits.
Why the Owner Chose Reedsburg:
We purchased the property in 2005. It was not intended to be a vacation rental. When we first saw the property we fell in love with the locaton. It is country living yet there is diversified entertainment within short distance. The lakeview is stunning, not to mention the fishing, which we both enjoy. This is now our second home. We do spend a lot of time here. For the times we are not here, we would like to open it to others so they too can enjoy the place as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This place brings peace and tranquility and away from the hum drum of city life.
