Absolutely beautiful...inside and out. The condo is very welcoming and comfortable. Everything has been done to make sure you have a pleasant visit...from comfy beds, nice seating in the living room, televisions in every room, and a beautiful balcony to enjoy the view of the ocean. I loved being on that end of the island where you had a little privacy. This is a condo that I would definitely return to on a regular basis and would recommend to my friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Myself and a group of friends stayed here for a friends birthday. This was a clean, comfortable place to stay. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants a nice relaxing place to stay on the beach. I will definately be back again!Recommended for: Girls getaway

Great experience from the first inquiry call to check out time on Sunday.. Our transaction was short, smooth and efficient--everything completed through emails. Rental agreement included detailed directions to the property and a text before our arrival included the electronic entry code. The unit was better than described! The rooms were spacious, well equipped and spotless. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING: bottled water, convenience-sized toiletries, Wi-Fi, Wii, cables, movies, board games, plenty of comfy seats, modern appliances, plenty of dishes and glasses, and BEST OF ALL - a well equipped kitchen. It made it a breeze to cook and serve Thanksgiving dinner. The view is amazing. Unobstructed views of the sunrise on the Gulf from the balcony was a daily ritual. On cool mornings, we lingered at one of the many Gulf facing windows and enjoyed fresh brewed coffee. There is also a small balcony on the backside of the unit to enjoy the setting sun. The three bedrooms have comfy KING beds, with plenty of pillows. Two bedrooms have bathrooms en suite and the third full bath is accessed from the hall. The bedrooms are placed for maximum privacy--very nice. The property is beautiful and well manicured. Your rental includes access to the clubhouse area; which has a hot tub, pool, small shops and planned activities. Nice bonus for folks travelling with children. We found it too cold to take advantage of these amenities. The one draw back to the property is the fact that it is located 20 minutes from Galveston. So you must plan your trips to the grocery store wisely. There are a few small grocery store nearby, but they are limited and pricey. Overall, we loved, loved, loved our stay at this First-Rate property.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

We had the best weekend in a perfectly decorated and very spacious condo. I could have spent the entire weekend on the balcony...wonderful view of the beach and ocean and so peaceful. The pool and large hot tub were fun for all, and the section of galveston this condo is in is like no other part of the area. I think it would be hard to find a better place to stay in galveston.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The condo was beautiful and comfortable, the beach was perfect, and the amenities were wonderful. I highly recommend a short or long stay here. The pool overlooking the ocean is great for adults and kids, and the baby pool was perfect for my toddlers. This was our2nd fabulous stay @ this luxurious & super comfortable condo & not our last! This truly needs to be your choice for a relaxing & fun vacation. The view of beach from balcony while dining with your family is gorgeous. The beds are heavenly for sleeping with super appointed bathrooms. Did I tell you about the kitchen-a cook's dream. We so appreciated being able to wash our towels daily. The 2 different pools were so well maintained w/super friendly staff! Everything you need for either the beach or pool is available in the owners condo locker,really everything! Since out temps are in 80's almost year round in Galveston don' t wait any longer & book this remarkable condo now take advantage of low season rates!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I was most impressed with the decorating and how at home I was. The kitchen is better supplied than my own at home and the beds are super comfy. The view couldn't be better and the beach so clean. The balcony setting made for fun mealtimes and watching the pelicans fly home for the evening. The living room has plenty of space and comfortable seating for visiting or watching tv. Wonderful memories were made with loved ones and no one wanted to leave and return to reality. It was a great time to visit, relax and have fun. We've decided we will visit The Sandcastle again soon. Our family loves coming to the Sandcastle as a lovely place to relax and recharge! The views of the Gulf are incredible, the amenities are second to none, and the resort is amazing! From the moment you walk into the condo, you feel welcomed and right at home. I would strongly recommend this rental to family and friends! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Great beachfront view from living and master plus bay view from kitchen/dining and back balcony and bedroom, lovely decor and wonderful large seating area for everyone, super comfortable beds, and the best stocked kitchen we've ever visited. We especially appreciated the king bed in every bedroom, perfect for the 3 couples in our group, and the large rolling cart provided for luggage. Since Pointe West now allows rentals to reserve the big gas grills at the pool, we were also able to use it to transport our special feast on our last night. Our only suggestion (and it's a tiny one) is to oil a couple of squeaky doors so guests don't wake each other. We spent the long weekend just visiting with friends at the beach/condo during the day and at the pool/hot tub/condo in the evenings - it was the most relaxing getaway we've had in a long time. Loved our stay here - highly recommended!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

We were in awe the second we walked in! Very clean and spacious with all the amenities you could ever need. The beds were amazing and the balcony had a beautiful view! I would absolutely stay again...Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We enjoyed the SandCastle so much. The decor is magnificant for the beach. We absolutely loved the king size bed in each room. The only issue we had was that we were told the house slept 8. We had 7, so my teenage son slept on the sofa, which was okay, just not excpected.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This condo is the real deal. The description is accurate but its even better when you get there. The amenities are too many to mention. We stayed over the 4th of July and was surprised at the firework display that took place right in front of our condo. Love the 3 king size beds and stayed connected to the world with WiFi. We will be back at the Sandcastle and highly recommend it.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This condo is absolutely amazing. When we stayed here we felt like we had all of the comforts from home but with direct access to the beautiful beach! The amenities are incredible and it was SO nice to be able to go and enjoy the pool during the few time we weren't enjoying the gorgeous beach which stays free of seaweed and debris always. The people at Pointe West do such an incredible job at making their facility feel like a 5 star, all inclusive, beach front resort. It is so nice to have your own little oasis down away from the hustle and bustle and to feel like you have an amazing condo that is fully furnished to come back to. The water is always so blue down at Pointe West and this condo has the most amazing views of the water which we so enjoyed while eating our dinner out on the huge porch. I would HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a Galveston getaway and I can promise that we won't stay anywhere else during our future trips to Galveston. I spent a weekend at the condo with 4 other girlfriends and we had a really wonderful time. The apartment is spacious and luxurious. Beautiful linen and towels, classy decor very tastefully put together, The kitchen is fully equipped so we didn't even feel like we needed to leave but if you wanted to, there are some lovely restaurants a few miles away. This was my first time in Galveston and it is somewhere I will definitely return to. So peaceful and tranquil with such a beautiful beach that at times I wondered if I was in Mexico! My family and I have always enjoyed Galveston Island, but when we found The Sandcastle, our vacation became luxurious and peaceful. We have stayed here several times, and we plan on returning. Not only does The Sandcastle come with an open and spacious Oceanfront balcony, but it has a quiet bayside balcony that is perfect for relaxing, and watching the sunset! The best thing about this condo is the open living area/gathering area. Being able to find a home where all of my family could comfortably sit in the same area was a big essential of mine. The location of The Sandcastle is ideal because it’s a short walk to the beach and the beach club. This is one of the most relaxing and luxurious homes of the Island, and I cannot wait until we return.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have rented for several years in Galveston & by far this is the very best condo we've rented. Let's start w/ the tasteful & comfortable furnishings made for relaxing & unwinding. The beds were so luxurious & restful that we sleptin every am! As an avid cook ,I was so impressed w/this true gourmet kitchen. Then there was the view of the Gulf from the spacious & well furnished balcony. We ate all our meals out there & read while sitting on the very comfortable lounge chairs. The huge T V w/ the best movie selections we have ever seen was so entertaining @ nite. We would stay in this condo exclusively when it is available! This house in wonderful!!! Great living area with two sitting areas. Beautifully furnished. Great house for three couples. All bedrooms have a king size bed and the most yummy sheets. Wonderful kitchen with everything you would ever need. Even great cookbooks!!! Very clean and well maintained. Nice outdoor dining area with view of beach and ocean. TV in every room and BIG TV in living area. This is the perfect house!!!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway

Wonderful condo to sequester oneself alone or with special friends. Calm, extra pleasant surroundings, great views of the property, gulf and sky. Would say it is one of the best places I have gone to relax and have a great time. The accommodations are more than adequate and the condo is very tastefully decorated. designer beautiful furnishings..immaculate...comfortable beds....great provisions for cooking in a gourmet kitchen...fabulous beachfront view the condo was very luxurious and i found the description to be right on target. the owner was very helpful. the parking and elevator was convenient. the beach was steps away. it had all the amenities of home. i would urge anyone to consider this place, it was over the top. historic galvestion with great seafood restaurants and many attractions is nearby. but...i doubt you will want to leave the condo!!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I have stayed here many times and have a wonderful time, every time! My kids beg me to go back. There is something for everyone. If you love hanging out by the pool or want to search for seashells and crabs on the beach, this place is perfect for both. The furnishings are rich and cozy and make you feel like you have stepped into a luxurious retreat! The balcony has amazing views and we loved sitting out there counting the pelicans that fly by in rows right in front of you. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need, so all we bring is groceries and a smile on our face. I will definitely be coming back and recommend it to anyone of any age!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We stayed the weekend in this lovely condo at the western end of Galveston Island. This condo is everything the description says: beautiful furnishings, fabulous beach with white sands, and totally equipped --with everything a vacationer could possibly need. Plus it is very spacious-- more than enough room for 6+ people without feeling the least bit crowded. If you want a quiet vacation in a beautiful and serene beach, this is your place--The owner must be a decorator-we loved the decor and spent most of our time relaxing in the condo or enjoying the unobstructed beach views from the large outdoor patio. Highly recommend!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Opulent ocean experience. We stayed for a week at this lovely condo. Whether your desire is to walk on the beach or relax dining alfresco on the spacious balcony this is a complete and relaxing stay at the Sandcastle. Simple pleasures renew themselves, watching the sunrise or the moon and stars while sipping champagne. Happy hour on the balcony with a twist as you watch the pelicans glide by. There is a very nice restaurant a few miles away and a kayak and paddle board rental company that will deliver to your location. Such fun on the surf or calmer waters of the bayside ! I will return to the Sandcastle and continue creating memories.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a fabulous weekend with three couples at the condo. It was spacious enough to comfortably accomodate everyone. Loved the location, view, outdoor balcony, and wonderful furnishings. I don't think I have every rented a condo in better condition, completely well stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen, and very clean. You can tell the owners have taken very good care of it. We liked that we had a beautiful view of the beach and could easily access it, but it was positioned so that it wasn't noisy and we had privacy from walkers on the beach. Half the group took advantage of being able to golf at Galveston CC -- real plus.
