About the owner: I am a science teacher with a background in marine biology. I love the natural beauty of the island and wonderful ecological and geological features it has to offer. I have three adult children who grew up on the island in this house. Islesboro and this home are very special places.
Why the Owner Chose Islesboro:
We moved to the island in 1990 and I built the house for my family in 1993. I taught at the K-12 island school here for 14 years.

The house is on a private dirt road and a short distance to the beautiful Marshall Cove beach is cherished to all who live on the road. You can also easily walk to Sprague's Beach and the hiking trails at the Turtle Head Reserve. The Big Tree Boating sailing program is nearby. They offer weekly sailing instruction for all ages.
