"Thirty Nine Palms" is a single family Indian River Shores barrier island home on a secluded half acre. Its palm and oak tree canopied property abuts a several hundred acre nature preserve with Indian River Lagoon estuary views and a short walk to Atlantic Ocean beaches.
Vero Beach’s exclusive shops, restaurants, parks, theater, museum and other activities are a five minute drive and easily reached via the A1A bicycle path (two bicycles on premises).
This is an architecturally designed, one of a kind, 3,200 sq. ft. high-end home with a premier location that is a joy to live in. The spacious layout, numerous windows, marble floors, vaulted ceilings, elegant dining room and sunken living room with coral stone fireplace, wet bar and dual sliding glass doors that open to a covered lanai and lushly landscaped yard with private patio, pool and lawn area, make it perfect for family retreats, as well as social gatherings from black tie receptions to poolside barbecues.
Ascend the semi-spiral stair to a large master bedroom with step in tiled shower, his and hers sink vanities, built-in his and hers closet, linen closet, king sleigh bed, dresser, dual night stands and TV/DVD/VCR.
The second upstairs bedroom has a full bed, its own full bath, built in closet, linen closet and TV. The third bedroom (1st floor) offers privacy and independence to your overnight guests with its separate sliding glass door entrance, king bed, walk in closet, TV/VCR and attached full bath with linen closet.
Fully-equipped, eat-in kitchen with microwave, self-clean oven, icemaker/water dispenser in refrigerator, numerous cabinets, TV and sliding glass door to pool area. Separate laundry room off kitchen with pantry cabinets, utility sink and half bath to serve pool guests.
Dining room has an oval table with six chairs. The den has a sofa bed, love seat, leather ottoman, premium Sony TV and a Bose DVD/CD player.
Outdoor furniture includes two table sets (one teak), two lounge chairs and two teak steamer chairs.
There is a two-car garage. Wireless DSL internet can be accessed from any room in the house. Central heat/air cooling system with separate zone for upstairs bedrooms.
If you’ve never been to the Vero Beach area, you will be delighted to discover it is located on the Indian River Lagoon; America’s most bio-diverse stretch of marine and coastal habitat. Dolphins, manatees, hawks, owls, sea turtles and even elusive bobcats (no worries, they avoid humans) live throughout the region.
