My boyfriend and I and another couple needed a place to stay the weekend of the Dave Matthews Concert. It was our first time renting a home. Within 30 minutes of arrival we all decided to ditch the concert and relax by the lake. It was the most relaxing weekend I have ever had. The house has all the amenities anyone could ask for. There was nothing we needed. You can tell the owners love this home and want others to love it as well. It was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. Everything is so organized and easy to find. The little details really stood out. I loved the hammock and screened in porch the best. My boyfriend loved the fishing on the lake. Our friends loved kayaking and the fire pit at night. The best kept secret is the pontoon boat. After researching so many other homes and what others charge, its unbelievable what you get for the price. Stay here, you will not find a better place with more grcaious hosts. ( Just dont book before we do, because we are already planning on going back at the end of summer)Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I'm a senior who had been traveling around upstate NY, Long Island and and Connecticut for about a month and was more than ready to get back to my home in Portland. This was my last stop and boy am I glad I did! I met an old friend there and we stayed for 3 days in bliss. We took out the pontoon boat and just talked as we cruised the lake checking out the shoreline and the waterfowl. The screened porch was airy and cool even as the day heated up and we ate and played cards in comfort. The night breezes cooled us down after an active day outside. The furniture is comfortable, the place smells great and feels like home. I unwound totally and was truly sorry to leave. I plan on being there again next year and bringing my sister.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Why the Owner Chose Saratoga Springs:
Pat grew up vacationing at Cossayuna Lake in the cabin next door that her grandfather built in the 1950's. With other family members on the lake and wonderful memories of idyllic summer days of youth, there was nowhere else Pat wanted to be. The quiet, rural setting of Cossayuna Lake reminds Ricardo of his beautiful, native Colombia.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
We sit on this quiet, beautiful lake yet we're so close to Vermont and to Saratoga Springs that excitement is just around the corner. The lake provides a perfect respite in August from the crowds and excitement of the flat track at Saratoga yet provides easy access to it as well. There are lovely art museums, and live summer theatre just a short drive away.
