Take It Easy on Lake Wedowee is a brand-new lake house ideally situated on a large point lot with lake views from every room.
Perfect for 2-3 families with up to 12 guests.
Short, easy walk to private gazebo and dock.
Things you can do at Take It Easy:
- Watch beautiful sunsets from the porch and lower patio.
- Have a picnic in your own private lakeside gazebo.
- Bring your boat and/or sea doos to our dock.
- Take a dip from the dock's covered swim platform.
- Relax in a lounge chair on the second story of the dock and enjoy the big water views.
- Roast s'mores around the lakeside fire pit.
- Play ping pong in the basement rec room.
- Hook up your IPhone or IPad to our Sonos system to listen to your music.
- Relax and enjoy the flat screen televisions in every bedroom and in the family room.
- Play the Wii on the flat screen television in the bunk room.
The house comfortably sleeps 12 people as follows:
Main Floor Room - Master bedroom with king bed and master bathroom with double sinks and double shower
Basement - Second master bedroom with king bed and private bathroom
Second Story - Guest bedroom with queen bed and private bathroom
Second Story - Bunk bedroom with six twin beds and private bathroom
There is a 1/2 bathroom in the basement with an outdoor shower that has direct access to the lake. There is also a 1/2 bathroom on the main floor.

We had a wonderful stay at Take it Easy! The home is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed everything about this home and especially- watching the sunset from the screened porch, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and playing games in the game room. I'm trying to plan a second trip to the lake house as soon as possible. Thank you for such a great experience!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We recently stayed at this beautiful home for a quick weekend escape! It is a very easy drive from the Atlanta area. The owner has wonderful decorating style. It is the perfect Lake House. It has everything you could ever need, not to mention the most perfect sunset from your beautiful screened in porch. We really enjoyed the cozy firepit for smore's, easy acces to the lake ( just steps away from the back patio), a very private lot, and a great gazebo by the water, perfect for lunch. The upper deck of the dock is a perfect place for sun bathing, and the kids really enjoyed the recreation room down stairs. All of the bedrooms are spacious, inviting and SIX bathrooms. The layout is ideal for many guest or just a few. I can't say enough about this property. It is truly perfect. I REALLY didn't want to leave and I can't wait to go back!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.

We had the best time ever at your house. Your view is one of the most awesome lake views that I have ever seen. I could have spent the whole vacation on the back screened in porch. The house is unbelievable and so much better than the pictures can portray. Our boys said that it was the best vacation that they have ever had. We had such good family time. Thank you so much for allowing us to use it.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.
