This house has everything a family could ever think of to maximize comfort, relaxation and play time that you could imagine. We had multiple family staying and all of us and especially the kids had a great time and will stay longer next year! We truly appreciate all of the effort that has clearly been made to include every item needed for a rental and more. I can't imagine anyone staying here and not returning whenever possible. Thank you for letting us use this palace.

Our church's women's retreat was at the cabin in April. We had such a wonderful time! Rhonda is so accommodating and helpful! We felt so welcomed. The cabin is fantastic! It was so spacious and was a great lay out for us to have our teaching and activities. The property is large and offers great outside seating for eating and fellowship. We can't wait to come back!

Perfect setting for large group/family

Four of our families met at this cabin for a long weekend to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. The ages in our party ranged from 1 1/2 to 72--and everyone loved it! The house was very spacious so people did not feel at all cramped or on top of each other, and the game room, raquetball room, hot tub, huge yard, trampoline, wooded grounds and multiple sitting areas throughout the property provided hours of entertainment and relaxation for all. The kitchen was well-appointed, the bedrooms (house in general) were clean and comfortable, and the dining areas sufficient for even very large groups. The open air back deck room was one of our favorite meeting spots! We all said repeatedly that it was all we could have hoped for and more---our goal is to get back before too long! The owner was very helpful as well and we would definitely recommend this place to others---especially for family reunions, group retreats, etc.

Hi Rhonda: You call your magnificent place in the mountains a “Cabin” !!! We call it a mansion where everything in and around it are first class. We felt like absolute celebrities for 10 days. As well, we were able to see and visit our grandson and watch 4 of his hockey games with the Arizona Sundogs. The comraderie with the 3 other couples was very special as we relaxed, laughed and simply enjoyed each other’s company. Thank-you so much for allowing us to enjoy your home. Blessings ! We used all of the facilities, had great meals in the Cabin, but mostly sat around the fireplace or out on the deck soaking up the sun. Thank you Rhonda and Joe for sharing your home with us. The pictures are a true representation of this beautiful home. It was spotless and had every convenience you would ever need - a then some. We loved sitting around the kitchen fireplace and only turned the t.v. on once to watch the "Oscars". There was so much to do but most of the time we enjoyed just being together and feeling right at home. Thank you again!!

This is a sensational place to stay. I wish we had known that coyotes could push over the trash bin at the top of the drive--we picked up trash in our Sunday clothes. A good hint is to lock the bin to the tree with the gate lock and problem would be solved. I guess we had leftover pizza and chicken wings for them to feast upon. The regrigerator was a little unnerving. It was partially filled with food from the owners or prior guests. We had a large group and needed the space so it was a little difficult. The refrigerator was not as clean as it could have been due to this condition. We could not figure out how to turn on the hot tub--it may have been on a timer. Other than those items, this is a wonderful place. Large, roomy, comfortable, quiet and lots of fun.

Owner response: Thank you so much for your response. I will definitely make sure to tell other guests about the wild animals who like to hunt for food in the trash bins. This has just recently become an issue - sorry you had to do this in your Sunday's best! I will also let my cleaning crew know to clean out the guests prior items from the fridge. There should just be a few necessities in there for you. The hot tub is checked after each group leaves and was in working order ... after your departure it was checked again and that is when we found that a "critter" had chewed through the wires on the control panel under the hot tub. Generally it is a breaker that gets tripped - this was a first for us!! I am glad these things did not ruin the fun and enjoyment of your trip and we look forward to seeing you again.

We loved our time up in Prescott because of this amazing cabin. It was wonderful to look out any of the windows and see the beautiful scenery. Our young kids loved playing in the house with all the different activities downstairs. During the day the outside open area was perfect for kicking around a ball or playing tag. We had an amazing weekend and made great family memories.

We stayed for the weekend with my sister's family and had an amazing time. The cabin is beautiful and it has all that you need. The kids and our husbands enjoyed the game room very much. We were lucky enough to get some wonderful snow friday night and the kids had so much fun Sat sledding and playing in the snow. I also want to say how impressed I am with how clean the cabin is. They have some wonderful house cleaners! I hope everyone enjoys their stay as much as well did.

The cabin was huge and had anything and everything you could possibly imagine. There was more than enough room for our group of 10 so that we were all very comfortable. I would absolutely return to this place!

We all loved our stay. Rhonda, the owner was nice, so easy to work with and very accommodating. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Every one of my family was so impressed with the home and said what a special weekend it was. We all enjoyed the game room, the kids enjoyed the toys, game boards, and many more. It’s fun to watch them playing hide and seek in this huge house! I liked it here because there are a few horse back riding places nearby, the house is close to the grocery stores, shopping center, restaurants, … What a perfect home. This place was amazing, plenty of room for my family and all our guests and tons to do. Beautiful mountain retreat great for larger parties. The owners were very helpful and made sure we had all we needed. No need to even leave the cabin we enjoyed all the amenities so much. Wonderful Rental we would love to stay again.

December 21-27 stay

Overall, this property is a great place for a large group to stay. We appreciated the large common areas for playing games and music. The location makes you feel as if you are more isolated than you are and the wildlife trooping through the yard adds to this illusion. When we arrived, the drive had not been cleared of ice and we had to sort through getting our vehicles up the drive after dropping off luggage. We cleared the ice ourselves the following day after it warmed up and softened it. The kitchen is well laid out with ample storage in the pantries and large refrigerators. The thin aluminum cookware was a challenge to use on the electric stove as it transmitted heat very unevenly. We recommend some more robust pots and pans to avoid this challenge for future chefs that stay. We were able to contact either the owner or the housekeeper with questions which saved a lot of headache with concerns about the thermostat location, wood supply and stove operation. The master suite and the "Doll Room" were difficult to heat using the main forced air heaters. We added a space heater to the "Doll Room" and used the woodstove in the master suite (a very nice stove too!). We hope this feedback is helpful and look forward to another visit in the future.

Owner response: Due to the elevation of our cabin, snow can be challenging especially for those of us who do not live in those conditions on a regular basis. We encourage guests to check current weather conditions and if concerned to call us before their stay. We are always trying to improve issues within our control including cooking items – in fact some were recently purchased. We have ample blankets for those colder winter nights for those who need more warmth and electric blankets as well. There are also a couple of heating fans available for our guests. As described, the property has so much to do, but is still a relaxing retreat. With 8 adults and 4 children in our mini family reunion/vacation, we needed a place with quiet spaces and gathering places, as well as, activities. This property had it all. We originally had maps of parks and lakes to drive to, but because there was so much to do, we ended up staying on the property except for one afternoon outing to the Courthouse Square, (which is only a short drive away) and one to Sky Y to support the local firefighters. The yard was great for family wiffle ball and jumping on the trampoline and in the wooded areas, we were able to see wildlife. It was a great escape for the city and a wonderful place to reconnect with family. Rhonda was very helpful and accomodating!

What a beautiful place you have in Prescott. If one does not sense the presence of God while staying there - they should check their pulse. Everything about the accommodations was absolutely awesome, but I especially enjoyed the deck off the kitchen. It was a perfect place for some quiet time with our Creator. Our church held a vision casting retreat at this cabin in Prescott over the weekend. What a fabulous place to get away. I recommend this location for your business, ministry or personal retreats / gatherings. You are only minutes from town but it is nestled in the piney hills and very quiet. Lots of fun activities on the grounds for adults and kids. Ample areas on the property to simply sit and enjoy the outdoors. The cabin offers places to relax (fireplace, spa, outdoor chapel) and play. It had plenty of beds and baths to accommodate our group. A beautifully decorated and modern facility that still gives you the feeling of being away from civilization in a wooded haven. The facility and grounds are wonderfully maintained and match the breathtaking surroundings. Our group enjoyed this location very much. I highly recommend you considering this rental for your next event.

We used this home as a business retreat location,. The home was amazing with several of our participants actually staying at the house. Lots or room to conduct daily meetings and have fun playing hand ball, or raquet ball in addition to ping pong and other games. The yard is beautiful and plenty of privacy Only 10 minutes from downtown Prescott I would love to come back and use the property personally to enjoy the cool weather, the tall pines and relax!!!

Six of our execs stayed at the house and were joined by 5 others during the day. Plenty of room for all and very nice accomodations for even the pickiest of guests. Lots of fun things to do. Very well maintained and clean. We found the environment very homey and inviting. Some of our group even stayed on after the work was done to enjoy the weekend.

This was absolutely the nicest place we have ever stayed. The house is gorgeous. The setting is beautiful and everything you may want to do is there. Racquetball, basketball, tennis, lawn games, shuffleboard, football and ping pong/pool as well as hiking in the forest. The mornings are so quiet you can actually hear the wind in the trees. It's isolated, but only ten minutes from downtown Prescott.

We were so pleased with our stay at this cabin. Every possible convenience and comfort are right there and there is such a feel of being right at home! There are places to just sit and relax and take in the beautiful setting & enjoy quiet reflective time, places to play the many provided games/game tables, places to gather for big "family" meal time or activities, several comfortable sitting areas and much more! Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful, functional & comfortable place to retreat and enjoy the such peace and beauty! I visited Prescott this past weekend and had an amazing time! Rhonda was very helpful in answering all of my questions prior to arrival. I was planning a girls trip and wanted to stay somewhere that was close to the downtown area but also had things to do at the cabin. We had a lot of fun playing foosball and shuffleboard. There is also a large grass area where you can play kickball or softball. The accommodations were very clean and well kept. The downtown area is just a 5 minute drive and there are a lot of cute places to go shopping and eat. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family for a place of relaxation.

This house was warm and inviting! We had plenty of space to recharge and relax over our 4 day stay. The kitchen and bedrooms are amazing and spacious. There are plenty of games and activities that we filled our day with our family and friends. The house is in the pines were we saw wildlife daily around the property.
