Why the Owner Chose Orvieto

We are Franco and Bozena. We live here since 2002 and we love it. We specialise in producing our own organic extra virgin olive oil, vine and saffron. We love looking after the farm but having guests coming from all over the world and staying in our apartments makes our life here very special.

The perfect getaway with a view and friendly hosts.

We spent the first week of May at Casa Rondini. I couldn't have been happier when we arrived, the pictures were great but it's better in person. Franco was right there to meet us and helped out when he realized that I hadn't gotten a car yet. He took me into his house and gave me some sauce and some pasta so we could have lunch. Then took us to the train the next day so I could get a car in Orvietto. The setting is beautiful. Balconies on each side of our apartment. The kitchen has all the things you need. And as they say Location is everything. An easy drive to all our favorite towns. Touring and diner back "home". I would love to go with another couple to share the apartment. All I can say is I loved it. It was everything the site said and more. Book it

lovely holiday

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Casa Rondini. We have previously rented many apartments in Italy, and I have to say this was the best experience we have had. The apartments are cozy and comfortable. We had a lovely fireplace and made fires on a few nights. The pool is beautiful and the setting heavenly. But best of all are the host and hostess Franco and Bozena. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Two nights of pasta making w/ other guests were great fun. Vegetables from their bountiful organic garden are free and eggs from the chickens available at a minimal price, along w/ their own wine, olive oil, saffron and honey. The incredibly peaceful silence surrounding the house is something to revel in. It is set out in the rolling hills, but a quick and easy ride to the A1 for longer day trips, and close to many other beautiful towns, both in Umbria and Tuscany. I couldn't recommend it more highly!
