Located on the oceanside of Highway One, this unique, Esherick-designed, family compound has been the site of many happy vacations. Located on three acres the house has a very secluded and private feel. The uniqueness of the property is found throughout the compound.
Highlights include; a hot tub nestled in a blooming courtyard, main rooms with an open and roomy layout while at the same time promoting an intimate and relaxed feeling, sweeping blue water ocean views from almost every room and a short walk to the bluffs, the beach, The Sea Ranch Lodge, and to the recreation center with a heated pool, sauna, and tennis courts.
You enter the house through a lush courtyard with a hot tub. This entry sets the tone for a peaceful vacation. The house has a master bedroom with a king-size bed and ocean views, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and access to the courtyard and hot tub. These two rooms share a large bathroom with a tub/shower. The third bedroom has twin beds and its own bathroom. Above the living room is a loft with a full-size bed and a computer with internet access.
The kitchen is loaded with stainless steal appliances and all the utilities needed for cooking a wonderful meal. The spacious living room is great for playing board games, sitting by the woodburning stove, or just lounging and relaxing. The dining area is just off and open to the living room. The dining room table comfortably seats eight.
Both the living and dining room areas are surrounded by windows with spectacular ocean views. There is a large deck off the dining room and a deck that wraps-around the front of the house. This is a great spot for whale watching and sunset gazing. There is a spacious lawn off the front of the house with a horse shoe court.
Whether coming to Sea Ranch to hike, bike, golf, ride horses, or just unwind, we think you will find our houses to be the perfect get-away spot!
