  Awesome time spent with family and friends. We had a birthday party for my 4 year old and invited the family that was down for a wedding over. The house accommodated our large dogs and a birthday party. The dogs enjoyed running and playing in the back yard and the family enjoyed the back porch and nice breeze. Everything was w/in walking distance, which was great for meeting up with the wedding party. I even was able to walk to the church on Sunday which was a perfect way to meet some of the locals. Lots of great memories!

  My girlfriends and I recently stayed at SunLove beach cottage for a girls weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and well-equipped and was a great location close to everything. We definitely plan to stay here again!

• Perfect Getaway

  The cottage was the perfect getaway for four of us, along with our 3 month old baby. It was an easy walking distance to both the beach and center street where all the shops and restaurants are located. In addition to the great location, it is a great house in perfect condition with everything you need, plus enough space for the 4.5 of us to spread out comfortably. Our little dog, Kona, loved being able to roam the house and the fenced in back yard too as we lounged on the covered back porch! It has everything you and your furry friend need to have the perfect Folly vacation. We would definitely stay here again in a return trip to Folly!

• Folly for two months

  We stayed for 2 months visiting Charleston frequently (which is about 15 minutes away) and walked the old section enjoying all the fantastic restaurants. The cottage was as advertised and the appliances and kitchen requirements were fantastic. Our host Jackie was wonderful responding to our every need. Our dog loved the place and the enclosed yard was definitely an asset. The beds were very comfortable and the TV set-up was extraordinary in that once a TV program was recorded on the PVR device downstairs one could view same in any room upstairs. The showers worked well. Although the weather was unseasonably cold we enjoyed the morning sun in the front porch with our coffees. The beach and local restaurants were only a 5 minute walk . The barbeque was clean and great for the occasional steak. All in all great fun!!

  Our group loved the laid back comfort and charm of the SunLove Cottage. The screened in front and back porches along with the fenced in yard makes it dog friendly and more relaxing. It was immaculate and had all the charm of old Folly Beach. We walked to dinner each night and rarely used our car with the beach and the downtown area being very close. Looking forward to our next visit! The owner was very friendly and accomodating.

  Our stay at the Sunlove Beach Cottage was fabulous! My husband arranged for me to have Friday and Monday off through my employer; without my knowledge, and surprised me with a "weekend at the beach with our dogs" for my birthday. We were so pleased with the cottage and how great the backyard was for the dogs; the fence was secure and we felt comfortable letting them stay outside alone for small amounts of time. The place was warm and welcoming, adorably decorated and very well supplied with cooking amenities. It is close to Center Street and to the beach, so we walked everywhere and as an added bonus....we got to see the Folly Beach Parade which was a treat in itself. Both Donna and Jackie were so accommodating and helpful...we couldn't have asked for more. We hope to make our stay an annual event, and we would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who loves to travel with their dogs like we do in a comfortable, cozy, romantic get-away.

  We loved the house and the location. It was 2 blocks the downtown area and 4 blocks to the beach. The fenced in back yard was great for the dogs, and they loved being able to run around. The house was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this house for a couple with a few children or two couples looking for a vacation spot. We enjoyed the hospitality of the owners they were very helpful getting the tvs working when we checked in. The photos were accurate of the property. The town is wonderful and we had great service at all of the bars and restaurants we went to. It is a very dog friendly town. We would stay there again on our next visit.

  Rented and stayed at the Shimmee Shack next door from Sat. to Sat ..Still had family in town and found out about Folly's Folly Palousa festival, making us want to stay ONE more NITE..We called Donna the owner of S. S. to see if by chance it had not been rented for that following week. Unfortunately, It had....but, Donna told us about her friends Studio rental RIGHT next door!!!! It worked out perfectly. The large one room rental is set up very nicely. And accommodates two quite nicely.Enjoyed relaxing on the side deck and its proximity to town (restaurants/shops etc) and the beach is Great..we walked everywhere. It was so very nice to have been able to stay our one more nite!!!!!!

  We loved the cottage and had a wonderful time. I was impressed at all the space saving and convenience ideas of the cottage. It had everything. Very nicely decorated and extremely convenient for a pet. Safe area and easy to walk to beach or restaurants. Very nicely done!

  We had a great stay at the Sunlove Beach Cottage. the dogs loved the fenced in yard while we enjoyed the screened in porch and convenient location. Definitely a place we would stay again!
