We found this rental to be the perfect alternative to a one room hotel room. With two teenage daughters we were thrilled by the second bath. The property was clean and well located for visiting the colleges in the area. We paid a small fee for a visitor parking permit which was one of the reasons we selected this unit. We know from past experience that parking fees in Boston can get very expensive.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you for your glowing review. I'm glad things went well with the college hunt and I hope your children get the college of their choice. You are more than welcome to come back any time. Thank Chris

This was my first time using Homeaway and we were very happy with the results. This apartment is wonderful very clean an homie. The owner checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. There were only two downfalls to the place, parking is very difficult ( but that is Boston) and there are a lot of steep stairs that lead to the private entrance. These two things can easily be over looked by the great location and price. All and all a wonderful stay in a brilliant city!Owner response: Hey Jen thanks for your review. Let me say this I do offer off street parking for a fee. If you choose to park on street there is always a spot out there. Maybe not directly in front of the house but always within a 100 yards. You and your family are more than welcome to come back and visit anytime Jen. Thanks again CHRIS

My husband and I traveled with another couple to Boston for a Patriots vs. Broncos game in October. We chose this condo because of the two king bedrooms; many rentals only had one king and two doubles- not ideal for two couples. This was perfect, though! The bedrooms were spacious and had great closets for unpacking. The space was comfortable, clean and safe. We'd absolutely stay here again if we come back to Boston. The walk to the Orange T Line is about 10 minutes- we were glad we took a cab from the airport when we got in at 11 p.m. instead of doing the subways/walking in the dark. The cab ride was about $45 with tip from Logan to the condo. We didn't get a chance to meet the owner, but he was very responsive with quesitons prior to our arrival. Yes, there are lots of stairs up the back, but it's Boston afterall. One tip... don't climb to the top of the Bunker Hill monument on the first day of your visit. Stairs after that are twice as hard with sore legs.Owner response: Glad you had fun here in Boston. You are more than welcome to come back. Sorry I worked all weekend, I did go up stairs to meet you on Sunday, but you were out. Well I wish your Denver Bronco's luck unless they meet Tom Brady and the Patriots again.

The condo was everything so described. Tour binder very helpful, easy access to train and bus system.Felt very safe walking at night. One drawback, many stairs to climb.Overall, a great experience and would rent again Kim/canadaOwner response: Well I'm glad you had a great time at my rental. It does say roof top deck. But I think this will help out others that are looking for a skyline view of Boston. It comes with a some stairs: :) And we would love to have you and your family back at any time Kim. Thank you for the review. Chris

This is an excellent place to stay for families. The apartment is newly renovated and immaculately maintained. It is exactly as described on the website and the property is actually much more beautiful than the photos. We were very impressed with the size of the rooms, the quality of the furnishing and the lovely rooftop deck. It is only a few block from the orange subway line, which takes you directly into downtown Boston. It is also 1 block away from a bus stop that takes you to Harvard Square. The owner is friendly, easy to contact, and provided great suggestions for places to eat and visit while in Boston. We would definitely stay there again.Did you find this review helpful? The place was exactly as pictured (I guess even better, as the saying goes "pictures did not do it justice") Why would anyone stay in a hotel/motel if you could find a place like this? The place was "spotless" very, very clean! Having a clean place to stay is the most important, but then having beautiful bedding/accessories/top line appliances, including washer and dryer....beautiful deck to sit on (view especially great at night). Beautiful/comfortable leather furniture, ceiling fans and air conditioning, large bathroom......this made our stay in Boston one of the best vacations we have taken!Owner response: Thank you. Glad you had a great Boston experience.

I came to Boston to see the Red Sox play and this place was more than perfect. It is about a 7 minute walk to the Train station, which will take you anywhere in Boston for $2. Fenway Park, The North End,The Aquarium, Back Bay, The Boston Common are all within 15 minutes on the subway. At the corner of the Street is a bus stop that will have you in Harvard Square in 10 minutes. One night we were out in the North End and decided to take a cab back rather than take the train and that was only $12. I really can't say enough about the location. The amenities inside the place were just as impressive. Two big bedrooms, 50 inch flat screen TV (with cable), leather couches, and the best part was the back deck. Perfect views of Boston and nice place to unwind after a long day of being a tourist. Much nicer than a stuffy hotel room.I also have to mention how clean it was when we arrived, it looked like it had been professionally cleaned. I'm not sure when I'll be heading back to Boston, but I know I'll be staying here again if I do.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My husband and I and another couple recently enjoyed this penthouse condo just minutes from Boston. It really was the perfect location. A couple of minutes walk and we were on the train which takes you right in to Boston (maybe 2 or 3 stops). The view from the rooftop deck has to be seen to be appreciated. We relaxed on the deck with wine and appetizers before heading in to enjoy the nightlife. Everything in this condo is in pristine condition and it has pretty much everything you need to feel at home. The beds are super comfortable. I don't think I would stay in a hotel in the Boston area again when this place everything I need and more. I am thinking that the next time I might come with my two kids, as there is a park right down the street. If I could give it higher than 5 stars I would. It is that good.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

Let me first start by saying how lucky my friends and I got. We had our reservation changed when we arrived at our hotel. We were sent to the Holiday Inn. Were we were offered a jr. suite at $350.00 a night. We were not to happy about the rate and the size of the room. That is when the door man at the hotel asked us if we would be interested in looking at a condo that a friend of his had just put on the market. He called is friend and found out the condo was available which was just up the street. We went to look at the condo and to our surprise it was way more than we could have imagined. The first thing that we noticed coming in our private entrance was an unbelievable roof deck with awesome furniture. When we opened the back door we were greated by a granite countertop kitchen. With beautiful high ceilings and huge skylights. There was an open concept with a nice flow. Bedrooms were very roomie and comfortable. We were in town for the Boston Marathon. Coming back to the master bath tub was a dream to all of us. Well we were in town we found this location was perfect. We had a car but we used the public transporation which was right down the street 75% of the time. The owner that lived on the second floor sent us to a great italian restaurant that we walked to on our first night there. We got on a bus at the bottom of the street that took us to Harvard Square the next afternoon for lunch after our morning run on the Charles River. The next evening we wanted to go to the waterfront and Chris sent us to this restaurant called The Tavern on The Water that is set on the Boston Harbor in the Charlestown Navy Yard. It was under a $10 taxi fare. The weather was perfect and we sat outside watching the boats go by. We ran our race and our stay was absolutey perfect. Which started off as a tragedy not knowing where we were going to stay. This condo was really clean and freshly painted. Having Chris the owner on the second floor was like having our own personal guide. He could not have been more accomidating. His apartment overall was well furnished with everything you could need to cook a Sunday dinner for a large family. Plenty of linens and towels and there was four of us that stayed. Overall I would highly recommend this condo for anyone going to Boston. You will find this location perfect. We will definatly book this again. Thanks Christy P.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 10/10
