We had a great stay at this property. It was clean and well kept. Our dogs loved running around the large property and the owners provided sheets to protect the furniture so I didn't have to worry about them wrecking anything. It was far enough away from town to be very quiet but still close to the nearest Starbucks.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners.

We were attending a funeral in the area and wanted to have family arriving from different areas have a central location to meet/stay. Although we were not in town to enjoy the area, we had a great experience and the comforts of this home added. The house is easy to get to, comfortable, and has everything you need. Thank you for opening your home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our stay at Desert Sage was great! The house was nicely furnished, the game room in the garage provided hours of enjoyment, and the privacy of the location was terrific. The location is just a short drive from the cities of Sisters, Redmond, and Bend, making Desert Sage ideal for many activities.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

My experience at Desert Sage has always been superb. My friends, my family have all stayed here many times and we have never been dissappointed. The house is very comfortable and clean and private. The game room is an added bonus for anyone, not just kids! The owner is always pleasant to speak with and the cost to stay is more than fair, I believe that is why it is booked as often as it is. All in all two thumbs way up for the Desert Sage Home! Thanks for all the memories and for the future memories as well!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My two sons and I used Desert Sage as a home base for a three-day, motorcycle fishing trip. We arrived Sunday afternoon to find the house ready and comfortable, and furnished to fit our needs for relaxing, laying out maps to plan our adventures, preparing food, and playing a variety of games for evening entertainment. We enjoyed the quiet of a country setting while having ready access to the town of Redmond. My older son rode from Beaverton, OR, and my younger son and I drove from Colorado. The house was easy to access from both directions. The owner provided excellent directions and instructions for getting to and into the house. The trip was truly awesome, and one of the highlights was the ride to Prineville and up the Crooked River Canyon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.

We came for a family wedding and really enjoyed the idea that Eagle Crest Resort was only 2 miles away, shopping within minutes, yet we were surrounded by sage, wildlife, and quiet. The best part of the stay was sitting on the back deck watching the meteor shower on the warm clear nights.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Wonderful location in the midst of sagebrush ranch country. There are neighbors but they are hundreds of yards away so you really don't notice them. Terrific house, much nicer than the photos appear, very comfortable and with every amenity....we particularly loved the awesome big screen HDTV and Blue-Ray system, even have a netflix account to order from! Huge video library also, and the game room was amazing. Very clean, very friendly owners who really make it an easy place to rent. All in all, we will definitely be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

On the edge of Redmond, between a horse ranch and a farm, this 10 acres of sage and juniper lend to a tranquil setting for a base camp from which you can explore Central Oregon. The home is well appointed and comfortable. We will definitely return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
