EXCELLENT!!! 4-15-2013 I will never stay at a hotel again! We rented this property for a "girl's bday weekend". Our experience was great from beginning to end. The house has three levels, and sleeps multiple people. It was well kept and clean, and fully stocked (minus food of course) with everything you would need.....(we forgot bottle and wine openers, and found them in drawers in the kitchen). We did not utilize the pool area by choice, but it is clean and spacious. There were ample linens and towels for the entire weekend (there were four females), and should you run out, there is a washer and dryer there also. We arrived to a welcome gift for each of us and fresh picked eggs by the owner. Blaze was awesome and made himself available anytime. We were literally 10-15 minutes from the French Quarter. Should you choose this property, we suggest having breakfast at the little diner around the corner....everything is DELICIOUS (cant remember the name....just ask Blaze).. In short...our stay was fabulous....the house is huge and clean....the owner is awesome. Do yourself a favor and just RENT IT!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

During my stay, Blaze (the owner) was nothing but accommodating to my 8 friends and I. While having 9 people stay there, we had plenty of room to sleep and the house was very clean. The pool was a little cold but thats only because it was towards the end of March. The owners not only had a gift package for when we arrived, but they also made us a huge pot of jambalaya the second day of our stay. If I was to go back to NOLA, there is no doubt in my mind I would stay there again. We were 10-15 minutes from the heart of the French Quarter as well and had plenty of restaurants, diners, and a grocery store nearby. I am extremely happy and lucky I chose this house for my trip!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Upon arriving we were greeted with a welcoming gift, information about the area, sites, attractions, and suggestions for dining options. The property description was accurate, the photos correctly reflected the appearance and the property was well maintained. We would definitely recommend this property to others. The owner suggested Coop's Place and Turtle Bay as must eat options. This also turned out to be accurate as both places were awesome. The French Quarter was great fun and educational. I would recommend taking a cab to and from this area about $20 each way. Also, $3 gets you a one day pass on the street cars another good way to see the city. Other great places we discovered were Muriels at Jackson Square, The Court of Two Sisters, Acme Oyster House, and Cafe du Mond. Make sure you go by Central Grocery for the original Muffaletta. The carriage ride is fun and informative especially if you get Harlan as your tour guide and his mule Choctaw. Blaze and Chris were great hosts. Thanks again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Blaze and Chris were amazing and made sure the 10 of us were well taken care of, even during the madness of Mardi Gras! We had an amazing trip, which includes fresh eggs mixed with red beans and rice, to a walking tour starting at Iggys off of St Claude, to the Parades on Canal, and that was only the first day! Though it may sound cliche, the guys were the definition of Southern Hospitality, and we look forward to visiting again! Mardi Gras 2014!!! Thanks for everything guys!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

This is an excellent place if you're looking for affordability, location, somewhere clean and charm! The house is a great with its 4 bathrooms ( 2 full, 2 1/2) and three bedrooms. It slept our group of 10 very comfortably. It was stocked with some basic food, towels and located close to stores and restaurants of the area. There is even a pool if you get to vacation in the warmer seasons (we didn't). Chris is super kind and offers lots of historical insight and has lineage that dates back to the original settlers of Louisiana. He gave a great tour of the house and lots of recommendations. Blaze is an awesome and enthusiastic gentleman, who gave us some pretty awesome welcoming gifts and assured us that if we needed anything that we don't hesitate to ask. Even if it was a ride if we happened to be stranded. Overall our group loved the house, Chris and Blaze and our trip to NOLA. We will most definitely rent from them again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks Andre. We appreciate you kind comments. We hope we can be hosts you and your friends again soon. Chris Andry

The listing of the location was accurate and the photos on line reflected the rental's true appearance. We cannot say enough about the hospitality that was shown to our family upon arrival and throughout our stay. We were the for Thanksgiving week and to our surprise had a stuffed Turkey and gravy along with some side items in our welcome basket. The house is a straight shot down Rampart to the French Quarter. We used the parking garage at St. Louis and Rampart while touring the Quarter. There is another Public Parking Lot behind Cafe De Monde which we used as well and was closer to Jackson Square. The weather was great while during our visit and we took advantage of the fire pit by on the outside patio of the home. The bathrooms were not as clean as we expected. However, the owners were more than willing to accommodate our concerns. We felt we needed to bring it to their attention as they pay for a professional cleaning company. We would stay here again as well as recommend it to our friends and family. The price is right and the location is safe with gated parking for two cars. If you are looking for a fairly priced house with plenty of room (we had 9 in our party), close to the Quarter and owners who go out of their way to make your stay awesome. This is the property you should rent.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.

As this was your first trip in the Big Easy, we had no clue on what to expect or really do. We were met by the owners, Chris and Blaze who show us around our rented home. It looked just if not better than the pictures. We stayed through the Halloween night festivities thanks to the wonderful advice from Blaze and have to say it was the highlight of the trip. We found the home large and inviting and with loads of extras. Could not use the pool as it was a bit windy and cool, but it was so nice just to sit by the pool and enjoy the view and quietness. Downtown Bourbon is just a quick trip by taxi and the area the home is in is very nice and quiet. The neighbors are very friendly and oh yes, it was nice to have fresh yard eggs....yummy....thanks again Blaze and Chris! We will be calling you for any further stays in your area and will tell all our friends about you too!Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
