My wife and I stayed at TLC for only one night but we had a great stay. I must say Roberta was extra helpful as she helped me track down my deposit. It was totally my fault (gave her a check with an old address). She even went as far as to send me a copy of the money order so I could follow up. All worked out and I got my deposit. Needless to say, I recommend any couple stay there.

The perfect place to stay while exploring the Asheville area. A hike up to the top of the road was the perfect activity after a home cooked meal in this ADORABLE, CLEAN AND PERFECT little cabin. Thank you so much!
Owner response:Glad you enjoyed your stay at TLC and also most pleased that we have never had a bad review come through after folks have visited. It is a great little place to chill out and do as little or as much as you like while here. Thanks for your comment and hope you get a chance to visit again. Roberta

I spent 13 days at TLC in April 2011. Its close to Asheville and there is plenty to do nearby. The quiet was broken only by the songs of many birds and the delightful sound of rain on the roof. The fragrance of wild azaleas and the view from the porch are amazing. The charming cabin is lovingly cared for and well maintained. It looks as good as the pictures, even better. I highly recommend this property.

My husband and I rented this cabin for our third year wedding anniversary and we had the BEST time ever! Roberta was very accomodating and showed us exceptional hospitality. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet get away. We enjoyed our time so much we plan to move to North Carolina next year. THANK YOU Roberta for all that you did and for making us feel at home. We truly appreciate you!

My husband and I traveled to Asheville from Orlando for our 4th anniversary. What a wonderful time we had there! So wonderful to see all the beautiful fall foliage. We really enjoyed our stay at TLC and couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodations. The cabin was so cozy and perfect for two. Our favorite thing to do was to sit in the rocking chairs in the evening and in the morning! So very relaxing after a long day of exploring. Roberta was wonderful and very helpful with everything. We will certainly be back to visit the little cabin on the hill!

We couldn't have been happier with our choice of TLC for our summer vacation! We left Florida and her heat and humidity for a little heaven in the mountains for 16 days. It was perfect for rest and relaxation, the weather was exceptional, the location was the best for all the sight seeing and visiting friends and relatives we wanted to do. Best of all, it came with it's own angel, Roberta, who told us how to get where we wanted to go and where the best restaurants were. How many little cabins can brag about providing ALL that? The parking is great, plenty of room for any size vehicle, and NO steps to maneuver for us chronologically challenged people. We highly recommend TLC for a few days or a few weeks or even longer. We can't wait to go back!!!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. Needless to say the TLC was the perfect place. Thank you Roberta for having such an amazing spot to enjoy our time together. It's the perfect location...safe, secure, beautiful, scenic, quiet, and romantic. The views were great and the cabin was just the right amount of space. If you're looking for a great place to get away and enjoy the majesty of Asheville and the mountains, TLC is the perfect spot! We will always cherish the week we had there and all the memories made. We love the TLC and can't wait to come back again some day. Thanks Roberta for all of your kindness and generosity. It made the week very special for us. Many many blessings!

TLC was perfect. It's everything you need and nothing you don't. It feels like you're in the middle of no where, but you're right down the road from major highways. The parking was a little tight, a big truck would be a tough fit. We will be putting TLC down as a suggested cabin for our wedding guests! Thanks!

TLC is a great getaway in Asheville! It’s about a 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville but located on the side of a mountain in a residential area. Very quiet and private. The porch has a beautiful view of the mountains and two rocking chairs to help you relax and enjoy it. The cabin is very clean - the inside looks new - and the walls and decorations look brighter than the pictures. The cabin is more spacious than I expected and I loved the high ceilings. With screened windows/doors and a fan we didn't even need the air conditioning - the breeze was perfect. The cabin has great kitchen appliances and is stocked with little extras we forgot (salt and pepper, cooking spray, etc). Roberta has posted little notes with helpful hints so you don't run into any problems (ex: make sure you close the side window when you leave in case it rains) and she was available by cell phone when we needed tourist advice - part of the Blue Ridge Parkway was closed so she suggested Triple Falls and it was AMAZING - better than the parkway for sure! I would recommend TLC for weekend getaways and for longer stays, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be back to enjoy a sunset on the porch soon!

TLC is cozy, clean, comfortable and perfectly situated. You're up with the birds, tall trees...away from it all - but an easy drive into Biltmore Village or Asheville's great downtown. (The roads up to this cabin are easy enough to manuever, too!) We totally enjoyed this cabin.

Its just "adorable" !!! That was our comment the minute we opened the door. It is exactly like the pictures. No surprises. And it was soooo clean. It had everything we needed. The leaves were still falling while we were there and it looked like a picture. Its a perfect location for a lot of places to visit. We spent a day at the Biltmore & another day at Black Mountain (wonderful town with lots of shops) Roberta was so good to us. She told us about some beautiful waterfalls to visit..she even drew us a map.My husband loves working with wood & he really admired Ben's workmanship. It is a very "cozy" cabin..we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & plan to return. We highly recommend it !!!

Great cabin! Everthing you need. Close to everything via I-26, I-40 and Sweeten Creek Road. Beautiful setting and peaceful atmosphere. Ben and Roberta are great hosts. Thanks for a wonderful Honeymoon! We'll be sure to stay with them when we return to the Asheville area.

What a great little cabin! It had everything we needed, all the details taken care of. It had a secluded feel to it and a very nice view of the neighboring mountains. Very convenient to the Biltmore Estate and Village and downtown Asheville. All that and the price was right too!

What a quiet little cabin in the mountains surrounding Asheville. The comfortable porch is the place to be at sunset. The cabin is closely located to the Blue Ridge Parkway, your doorway to all the best of Western North Carolina. Our hosts, Ben and Roberta could not have been more accomidating. We look forward to coming back to the mountains to see them and explore the rest of the area.
