What a wonderful anniversary weekend we spent in this charming beach-chic cottage! The moment we walked into the front door we fell in love with the nautically-themed surroundings of this cozy and intimate setting. It was such a treat to be able to walk to the Pirate’s coffee shop at the end of the street, and to the restaurant Tidal Raves for some of the best food we’ve had on the Oregon coast. We also enjoyed art galleries and a walk on the beach in Lincoln City. With tasteful accessories, comfortable beds, and a great location, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We’ll be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, pet owners, girls getaway.

This is not the first time that we have rented this place. We keep coming back because it is so comfortable and inviting. We have brought the kids and watched the waves crash against the cliffs and let the ocean lull us to sleep at night. We have also used it as a get away without kids! It is so easy to relax! The house isn't lacking for anything. It is clean with great decorations...it is a home away from home.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My college daughter and I enjoyed the cottage tremendously! It was so close to the ocean. Perhaps a hundred yards or so. We enjoyed the whales every day, they jumped, and spouted at any time of day. The sunsets were beautiful. The owner went way beyond what would be expected, every possible beach item was provided as was a welcome basket including wine, cookies and other assorted welcoming gifts. The house was so cozy, clean and well stocked that it was very hard to leave after our 9 days. The town of Depoe Bay, a 15 minute walk, offers several nice restaurants and shops and the surrounding area offers unlimited access to beaches, arts and history, to name but a few.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

New winter rates during the whale watching winter months.Jan 31st thru May 30th. Weekend special of 150.00, includes our new satellite internet serv and use of a cozy bed for your best friend by the fireplace. Summer rates start in June adn will be $100.00 night during the week and 125.00 for the weekend.

About the owner: Baby Boomer couple working toward retirement at the Oregon Coast. Both of us renovated the house to a cozy, functional and beach decor. Our black lab loves to come to the beach and go beach combing and chase the birds.
Why the Owner Chose Depoe Bay:
This house on North Point Depoe bay has historical interest to us, along with a great marina that we take our fishing boat out to go Salmon Fishing every year. It’s walking distance to downtown and some awesome restaurants and pubs. We love to sit on the public cliff view across the street and watch the whales and drink cocktails. My husband often fishes on this cliff, while I read my books. The sunsets are beautiful and perfect photographers pick of Gods beauty.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
If you loose or break one of the many toys let us know, most are replacable for a reasonable cost. Deposit will cover the more expensive items.
