  Was perfect for my husband and I we loved the porch and sat out in the mornings watching the ocean. Very nice places to eat very close and town was easy to navigate. The house was perfect and well equipped.... would like to return sometime this summer!!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  We loved our place in Waveland. The property was "as advertised", but better. We were steps from the white sandy beach. The owners were exceptionally helpful and wonderfully friendly. Our stay was great and problem free. There are many great seafood restaurants in the area and I think we tried them all. It was a very relaxing and quiet vacation. Many thanks to our owners for a great time.

The beach is truly looking wonderful after the county did some refurbishing work on it last year.   This place sucks. Inconvenient, ugly, lacks comfort, dirty beach, rude people... OK, that's only to keep people from renting it. WE WANT IT ALL FOR OURSELVES!!! Location is unbeatable, beach is deserted, beautiful and full of life (crabs, stingrays, fish, dolphins), though safe for families. Waveland, Bay St. Louis and neighboring towns are charming communities that make you feel welcome the moment you set foot on them. New Orleans is an hour drive West. Mobile 2 hours East. You can also enjoy small cities like Biloxi and Gulfport, with casinos and entertainment shows. Lots of excellent restaurants and eateries just around the corner. Or large supermarkets if you want to cook at home. Great for antique seekers or just for shopping the little businesses in these towns. And this is all despite Katrina basically devastating the whole area 7 years ago. You'll find some scars here and there now, but apart from empty foundations along the beach where houses once stood, they are almost unnoticed. The Little House has it all. My wife and I felt at home from day one. We had rented the property for just one week and planned to spend the rest of our 3 week vacation hopping around the Gulf Coast. We ended up staying the whole 3 weeks!!! If it were up to us, we'd move there in a heartbeat for good. We just can't say enough good things about this place without running out of space. And the icing on the cake are two of the most wonderful people we've met: the renters. They will go out of the way to help you in any conceivable way. Thanks for such an unbelievable time, guys. Like McArthur and Terminator said: "We'll be back". No doubt in our minds...

  My husband and I rented the "Little House " for 5 days, although extremely hot, we loved every minute. The sightseeing was great with many places to visit in the area. We extremely enjoyed the southern hospitality and culture of the area. The seafood was devine, with many restuarants nearby, but the ma and pa local diners were the best. The house was comfortable and well equipped. A very nice reprieve from hotels. The pictures do not truly represent how beautiful the decor was nor the beauty of the gulf area. Everyday I said, "this is like heaven and the best vacation I have ever had. The hosts were very friendly and they made things easy. It was a restful, peaceful escape from work and we truly had a summer getaway.

  THIS WAS THE BEST GETAWAY MY HUSBAND AND I HAD IN A LONG TIME. WE ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF OUR TRIP AND THE COTTAGE WAS GREAT. WE RODE OUR BIKES, WALKED ACROSS THE STREET TO THE BEACH AND WENT TO THE ANTIQUE SHOPS IN TOWN. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING BACK VERY SOON. THE OWNERS ARE JUST AWESOME!

  we stayed 10 days and we loved it we play golf and watch alot of sports when it wasnt raining we played golf come for the evening set on your on devk nobody around very private and watch the waves roll in walk across the street into the oceans people who ownes the placed are super! the tv didnt have very many channels for sports and the owner was going to up grade the package how sweet is that!you will enjoy your stay jackie peoria IL

  We absolutely loved our stay. The house was perfect. The beach was all ours. No worries about traffic either; the highway was never an issue to cross to the beach. The fishing was also great from the beach. Lots of crabbing catching sting rays kept the kids entertained. Already planning on returning soon.The owners were closeby for any questions. And the house was immaculate and well stocked.Must go to Kiln, Ms to Jourdan river Steamers to eat!!! And the waterpark at waveland is great. Inexpensive and you don't have to spend all day to do everything.
