We traveled from TN to Longboat with our 3 year old and 5 year old children. We stayed a weekend at this perfect getaway and loved every second of it. The full kitchen and laundry made this trip so much better than staying in a hotel or condo. We loved the many things to do within walking distance from the house. The beach was a short walk across the street and a great park just in our back door. We rode bikes and walked the beach everyday. The location of Longboat is very convenient to Sarasota and St. Armonds Circle where you can fine excellent restaurants and entertainment. We spent lots of time on the beach and the wildlife and sea shells that we encountered made our trip so much better! This was the perfect vacation for our family. We are planning to go back next NovemberRecommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

What an enjoyable get-a-way!! Spent a few days at the beach cottage in Longboat Key. Cottage is spacious, well appointed, all you need is bathing suit, walking shoes, suntan lotion and off you go. Lots of good restarants within walking distance and Owner, provided us with additional information. Found the outlet mall in Ellenton, only 25 minutes away. Looking for a family vacation or girls time away, this is the place to be..Clean, inviting, convenient. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for quiet beach (lots of shelling), large rooms, wifi, flat screen TV's,full kitchen. Thank you for providing us your cottage. See you again!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

I had the pleasure of staying at this great, delightful beach house. The location is amazing and it's just a couple minute walk in either direction from the bay on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other side with white sandy beaches. House itself was homey and modern with flat screen TV's, WiFi internet and also had a nice backyard. I will definitely be taking the family back next year for our annual vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
