The apartment is quiet and bright with a lovely balcony, fully furnished and equipped.
You can look at the area around Piazza Bologna on Google Earth. It is a particularly convenient area, because it is close to the historical city center (thirty five minutes walk, two underground stops to Termini Station, twenty minutes bus ride) and yet immediately out to the “tangenziale” road leading to the ring road and motorways. Close to the University, it is a very lively commercial area: small shops and boutiques, banks, farmacies, supermarkets, two fresh food markets, large and small restaurants (one is just down the street, fifty meters, very convenient , decent and cheap) are all within minutes of walk. There is one beautiful historical park of Rome, Villa Torlonia at about fifteen minutes (look it on Google). The area was built between the twenties and the fourties of the twentieth century, so there are typical decorated Liberty style buildings and more modern ones, like those in our street that you see in the photo, built around 1940. Altogether a very nice looking and pleasant area. Our street is two minutes from the busy Piazza Bologna and its shopping area, but it is a very quiet side street. There is a disco nearby, in the street next to ours and we never heard noise from it. If you want to hire a car, though, you can use a public garage under the buiding next to ours, both daily and monthly. It may cost something around 150 euros a month. Also, being on top floor, you hardly hear any noise, even when dining out on the balcony, which we recommend in summer evenings as particularly pleasant.

Close to Sapienza University.
