This beautiful, luxurious new home is located in the desirable Pelican Bay section of Wild Dunes, Isle of Palms, South Carolina. The home overlooks a beautiful lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. The lagoon contains fish, turtles, and other wildlife.
The home has four levels and an observation deck on top. The views of the ocean from the observation deck and great room are gorgeous.
The home has an inverted floor plan with four bedrooms and four bathrooms on the first level. This level also contains a den with a sleeper sofa, cable TV with DVD/VCR and a covered deck off the back overlooking the lagoon.
The second level contains a beautiful, spacious great room with beautiful maple hardwood floors. (All the floors are hardwood except the bedrooms and baths). The bedrooms have berber carpet and the bathrooms have an expensive, cultured tile. The second level also contains the kitchen/dining area and the master bedroom/bath. A covered deck off the back of the second level overlooks the lagoon and ocean.
Our professionally decorated home is beautifully furnished. Two large leather couches, a large chair/ottoman, and two casual chairs surround the fireplace (gas logs)in the great room. Windows span the entire length of the back of the house on the second level and on either side of the fireplace on the south side of the house providing for gorgeous, expansive views of the lagoon and ocean.
The dining room is directly off the great room and offers seating for eight. There is a bar with four seats beside the dining room table. Our fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops is also directly off of the great room. Our house is perfect for entertaining family and friends.
A wrought iron table and chairs for six along with two occasional chairs adorn the second-level deck and two lounge chairs are provided on the observation deck. This is a wonderful place to spend your mornings and evening. The wildlife in the lagoon is amazing and the sunsets and sunrises over the ocean are beautiful.
A nice pool approximately 100 yards down the road from the house can be used by all Pelican Bay owners and guests. The famous Wild Dunes links golf course (with holes on the ocean and waterways) is just around the corner. The Boardwalk Inn Hotel (with restaurant) and all nearby amenities (including the Harbour Golf Course) are also just down the road from Pelican Bay.
Our beach access is 3 minutes away at the Property Owners Beach House, which sits right on the ocean. This is a beautiful, newly renovated facility with indoor restrooms, showers, covered porches w/ rocking chairs, a grassy picnic area w/ picnic tables, grills, and small pavillion. We are fortunate that this spot has an enormous beach. During low tide, you can discover sand dollars and star fish by the dozens. The beach is also very expansive during high tides.
There is an outside shower in the garage.
Everything you could possible need for a perfect stay at the beach is provided, except for food and drink.

We recently had a week long getaway with a group of 12 relatives, all women, between the ages of 43 to 93, and we all found this home to be exceptionally clean, relaxing and spacious. The location was perfect, it was only a very short walk to the pool and beach. We spent time in the rocking chairs at the Property Owners Beach House which was gorgeous! Kristin was most accomodating, and and made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely return!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

A wonderful home for a large crowd! Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made getting ready to go somewhere easy! We truly enjoyed sitting outside watching the turtles, and the alligator. The walk to the beach was only a few minutes, and the property owner's beach house is very convenient for a bathroom break. Everyone raved about this vacation!Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

4 couples who have been long time friends stayed in this lovely home with 3 grown children and 2 teenagers. It was the perfect house for our group. The bedrooms are very private and having our own bathrooms was truly a bonus. The kitchen is very well equipped and we could all be together in the dining area for meals. The great room is very nicely furnished and is quite a comfortable space. We didn't spend a lot of time hanging out in the great room because the covered porch was sensational. We had a breeze at all times of the day and it was so fun to watch Wally, the gator, in the lagoon. Coffee out there in the mornings was a favorite time. The house is close to the beach and it's great to have access to the Property Owners' Beach House. Although we brought our own beach chairs, Kristin has lots of chairs and beach toys she encouraged us to use. If you need a large beach house for friends and/or family, you can't get any better than 20 Pelican Reach. Also, dealing with Kristin has been wonderful. She checked in on us to make sure everything was like we expected and she was available to call if we needed anything during our stay. We hope to return to this house next year!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

This home is beautiful and very well maintained. The location was good with a pool nearby and short walk to the beach. Access to the Property Owners Beach House was great, providing bathrooms right off the beach. We loved being on the lagoon and were very entertained by the wildlife. The owner was very easy to communicate with and provided a lot of helpful information about the house and the nearby area regarding groceries stores etc. Wild Dunes is a great resort with great wonderful walking and biking paths, golf, tennis and restaurants. We would definitely rent from this owner again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

"My family and I had a wonderful time at your beautiful home. We really appreciated how easy your house was to rent - all we had to do was show up. You provided us with much more information than we had expected. The adults particularly loved sitting out on your beautiful decks looking at the lagoon and ocean views. The birds were very exotic! The children enjoyed being so close to the pool and beach as well as the culd-de-sac your home sits on. They spent many nights playing frisbie and riding bikes in that spot! Having our own bathrooms was a huge plus. Your home was extremely clean, well-kept and nicely decorated. We will definitely stay again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This is our third year in this beautiful home. The layout is ideal for our three families. We love having our own private bathrooms. The great room and kitchen is large and flows nicely for our large gatherings after a day at the beach. The location is perfect!!! We were minutes away from the pool and beach, and we love having the owners beach house as our beach access. Great to have showers and bathrooms at the beach. The house is within the Wild Dunes community, which has great shops and restaurants within walking distance. It is set on a scenic pond with lots of wildlife; we really enjoyed watching the alligators and turtles from the back porch! The walk to the beach is quick and easy...right across the street. Overall the house was very well kept and clean. It had everything we needed! It would be perfect for several couples or families because each bedroom has its very own bathroom.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, our children and grandchildren. It was truly a wonderful celebration! Your home suited us so well. We certainly enjoyed having our own bathrooms, and the living room, kitchen & dining area accomodated all eleven of us. Your home was clean and extremely well cared for. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the decks - we saw deer, egrets and turles. The grandkids got a kick out of it! Kids & grandkids loved being so close to the beach and pool. Thank you for the stay in your beautiful home. Location and accomodations were perfect for our group of ladies staying there during the FCC. We had 13 ladies through out the week with plenty of room and most importantly 5 1/2 baths was the best. The owners are on top of everything in taking care of their guests, we will be back next year and hope to play tennis with you. Kristen we love your home and you made it so accomodating. About the owner: We built this house in 2004 as a second home. It has been a great joy to share our home with families getting together for vacations & holidays, to tennis teams, golfers and many others.

Our home is an ideal location - a quick walk to beach and pool. We are on a quiet street at the end of a cul-de-sac. Each of our five bedrooms have their own private bathroom and balcony. We live 30 minutes and away and keep our house perfect for our guests.
