Sterling Sands Unit 611 has been completely renovated and furnished in the spring of 2012. Renovations include new Maple cabinets with granite countertops in kitchen and baths, stainless steel appliances, all new tile and paint. Entire unit has been refurnished and professionally decorated in a tasteful beach theme designed to maximize the ambiance of the incredible beach view. Amenities include a 42” Vizio HDTV with DVD player in living room, 40” Sony Bravia HDTV with DVD in master bedroom, and 23” HDTV in second bedroom. Master bedroom has a king bed with new pillow-top mattress with memory foam. Second bedroom has a full bed with a soft pillow-top sealy-posturpedic mattress. The living room includes a Queen sleeper sofa, bringing the sleeping capacity to 6. The master bath features a whirlpool tub and shower. The second bathroom has a porcelain tub and shower. Other amenities include a washer/dryer and free WiFi. Of course the best amenity is the magnificent gulf view. NO SMOKING, NO PETS.
Sterling Sands features 380 feet of pristine beach with beach service available, a large freeform seasonally heated pool, outdoor hot tub, fitness room, and beautifully landscaped grounds. This rental includes complimentary beach service (Umbrella and 2 Beach Chairs and setup).
Sterling Sands is located across the street from “The Trac” amusement park, Merlin’s Pizza (absolutely delicious), and Smoothie King (also absolutely delicious) – on Airport Road. Walk down the beach for lunch at the famous Back Porch restaurant, a Destin tradition. Big Kahuna’s water park is just down the street. For a great meal at a great price, try Fisherman’s Warf to the west on 98. The famous Destin Harbor, with all its attractions is just a short drive west, as well as McGuire’s Irish Pub, where you can have a delicious Sunday brunch. The famous Another Broken Egg is another favorite breakfast spot. Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse is just east of the complex. Destin Commons, a fabulous shopping and dining area and the Bass Pro Shop are a short drive to the east. Continue east to the famous outlet shops.

This condo is superb for a family to enjoy. Location, facilities, beaches all extraordinary but most impressive was the cleanliness of the unit together with the furnishings. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Dinah for allowing us to enjoy it. Great place for family vacation with children. The condo was clean, beautifully decorated with new appliances and furniture. Direct view of the beautiful beach, easy access to pool and beach. The owner was very responsive, friendly and more than accommodating to ensure our stay was the best. I would recommend this place to a friend or relative. The condo was centrally located to restaurants, activities and attractions.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Management office staff was courteous and knowledgeable, plenty of parking, plenty of luggage carriers, unit was new, clean and exactly as described in listing, located conveniently among restaurants and shopping, white sand beaches, pool and surrounding areas cleaned each morning, had a great experience, would definitely stay at this unit again.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My buddies and I came down for a guys trip in May. We loved the view, the comfortable furniture, the HDTVs and especially the beach. The description in the listing was accurate, and the photos don't do it justice. Great location too. We will definitely be back next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

I have been vacationing in the panhandle area for years. I have found mid Destin to have the most beautiful sand, and absolutely fell in love with Sterling Sands. It is a wonderful resort because it is large enough to provide great amenities (8 stories, 110 units), but small enough to provide a peaceful, family friendly vacation.
