Great location in Dana Point, Orange County. We are located in a prime location just across from the public beach access and Steps to Stand Beach. Enjoy breathtaking ocean views from scenic walkways along the Pacific Ocean. Coastal Cottage is designer furnished 2 bedroom 2 bath beach condo which is decorated of colors of the sea for a relaxing vacation. The POOL is heated year round so you can enjoy Sun, Surf and Pool 365 days of the year! MASTER BEDROOM-The master bedroom has a King-Size Canopy Bed with a top-of-the-line mattress, luxurious linens. There are reading lamps on each of the 2 bed, television and private patio. Guest room-Has A Queen Size Bed, Tv, Radio,patio. KITCHEN-The Fully-Equipped Kitchen has everything you need from a microwave, coffeemaker, and blender to dishes and pots and pans for cooking or baking. FAMILY ROOM-The family room has a Sleeper Sofa with a Queen Size Bed. There is a TV with DVD player for your entertainment If you need to do some work or just want to surf the Web, Wireless Internet Access inside the unit is available at no additional cost. We were so pleased with our accommodations!! Wow! The decor was one of the best places we have ever stayed. We just had a fantastic vacation here and will treasure for a life time. The location of this condo is fabulous. It's directly across the street from Strand Beach. Pacific Coast Highway is a block away. It was easy to get anywhere in Southern California from there. The property was just right to comfortably house the four adults, three children and one baby in our group. Things were relatively clean when we arrived, but we did spend a couple of hours cleaning the floor because just after we arrived our baby crawled around for a while and his legs were black from the knees down. The place has a nice pool that we used one day. Plenty of dishes and pots and pans. We cooked a lot of breakfasts and fixed a few lunches in the kitchen. Everything worked except the screen door in the guest bedroom. It was kind of off the runners and we were never able to really get it to work properly. The landlords were very helpful and responsive. We feel they make every effort to keep things nice. We liked the keyless front entry lock. It was convenient. We loved the beach. Lots of good restaurants within a short drive. We found a large wheeled air conditioner in a closet as we were preparing to leave. We had just used fans for the stay, but regretted that we didn't find the A/C sooner. The pictures show the condo well. It is a cheery place to be, and an excellent location. It's a vacation that we may repeat in a year or two. I would recommend this property to anyone.Owner response: Thank you so much and we are so glad that you enjoyed the fabulous location! Our housekeeper throughly cleans the wood floors after each guest but we recently had painted all rooms and hope that the work did not leave the floors dusty from paint. We do ask in our rental agreement to contact us if you notice anything upon arrival. We would have immediately sent housekeeping to clean the floors for you! Overall, we are so glad that you enjoyed the FABULOUS LOCATION and our property as well as the BEACH! We are glad to hear that you would return again and look forward to you visiting us again! Our two week stay was phenomenal. The condo is very light and airy. The ocean breeze was so nice. We slept with our windows open to breathe the cool sea breeze. The custom furniture is beautiful and the setting is beach chic. The beds are extremely comfortable with plenty of fluffy linens. The condo is in the location. The condo has ocean views. It is just across the street from the Beach Nature Preserve. We just had to cross the street and either walked down the nature trail or took the German engineered quick tram to the beach. It was very exciting and first vacation to offer the beach, nature preserve, billion dollar celebrity homes, 5 star hotels, shopping, fitness centers, gourmet dining, and more all within walking distance or a short drive. Did I mention the whale watching, yolo boards, lobster festival? Need I say more? If you want a relaxing vacation with the feel of the South of France in California, then this is the place for you. There is so much to do and Lego Land is just a 35 minute drive. The condo is just off the PCH, so we took advantage of driving the coast too. Our pictures have us already checking airfare to John Wayne Airport, LAX, or San Diego for the best prices to buy more and go more often. We had a splendid time!Did you find this review helpful? This was a beautiful little condo with a cottage feel. We had everything we needed for our stay. The views from the park in front were absolutely gorgeous. It was the perfect place for my family to vacation. Owner was very nice, flexible and professional.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a gorgeous beach and a gorgeous beach rental with numerous access points to the beach. The decor was so just perfect with a beautiful beach theme and very clean. We had a wonderful time. The accommodations were perfect and decorated so beautiful. Enjoyed going to beach, exercise and living the California lifestyle. Our trip was perfect and can't wait to come back next year. Also, enjoyed great walking trails by Ritz Carlton and St.Regis. My family enjoyed surfing, a day a Legoland and more. About the owner: Our family enjoys Southern California! We enjoy the beauty of the coastline and the upscale area of Monarch Beach. The location is fantastic Our children enjoy Sea World, The Aquarium of The Pacific, Disneyland, LegoLand, Aquarium of the Pacific and much more. We also enjoy the harbor of Dana Point for Yolo Boarding and taking a boat out to Whale Watch. Laguna Beach is only 2 miles north and is nice as well. We are surrounded by 5 star resorts, walking trails and beach access to Strands Beach in Monarch. We have enjoyed Dana Point for the past 7 years and just love Southern California lifestyle!
