  The week was perfect and so was the house. The views were breathtaking. The weather cooperated with two lovely snows that melted to allow travel to Highlands for excellent dining. My friends and I particularly liked Wild Thyme. Thanks Anne for sharing this most amazing home with us. We would love a return visit.

  The accommodations are well appointed, everything you might need is there and more. The master shower is like bathing in a grotto - comfortable mattresses - great premium movie channels - comfortable chairs thru out. It delivers all that is described. The owners directions and regard to creature comforts are all well designed. It is a beautiful setting, quiet, peaceful, all that one can ask for. The vista's are nothing more than spectacular - you do feel as though you are amongst the clouds, and experiencing a little slice of heaven.

  For the past 15 years my family has spent one or two weeks per summer in this wonderful house. It has become our home away from home. Whether it's been just my wife and two kids or all 14 members of our extended family, the house works great. The owner takes great care to continually update the house and is always available to answer questions or concerns. Situated perfectly between Highlands and Cashiers, few properties in Highlands offer such an expansive view in such a relaxing setting. The house has a mountain charm with all the modern amenities such as wireless internet and more tv channels than even teenagers can watch. I look forward to spending more vacations in this "home away from home."

  My family has come to the deVille Villa for many years, refreshed always by the beauty and peace that dwell in that fine place. This year we were absolutely enchanted by a lightening storm at early dark --so beautiful and yet so frightening as it bolted to the ground. But it did not take a storm to keep us on our toes as looking at the night skies from the deck was pretty amazing within itself as neighboring towns appeared so close. We even could see traffic lights changing one clear night.Conclusion: We hope to always spend part of our summer here.

  Whiteside Villa is a fantastic vacation rental.The house is kept extremely clean and the surrounding yard is beautiful.The view from the deck and interior is absolutely awesome!! There is plenty to do in the surrounding area,but we spent most of our week relaxing on the deck and taking in the incredible views.Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us. My wife and I will be back and would recommend it to anyone

  When we arrive and saw the beautiful view we thought we died and went to heaven! The home is in the middle of Highlands and Cashiers so we had the best of both Worlds! If you did not feel like cooking dinner, Highlands has the best restaurants! If you want to stay in and cook your own meals this home is equip with every kitchen necessity and you go into Cashiers to Ingles and buy your groceries and wine and dine at home! After a couple of days we were back on her web site looking for another open week and the home was booked a year out! So Anne, if you ever have a cancellation in August , September, October of this year we want to be first on the list! The master bath felt like we were taking a shower in the waterfalls, the beds were very comfortable and as Long as my husband had his Fox News and Fox Business he was a happy camper! We did bring our pets and they also love the nature trails right next to the sliding glass doors! They felt as much at home as we did!

  We welcome the opportunity to thank you for sharing the remarkable creaation that is Whiteside Villa. You told us we would like the house. This is a huge understatement. Views, furniture, accessories and the new TV all contributed to making our stay the best in our 50 years of visiting the Highlands area.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our "cool" two week stay at Whiteside Villa in August, a welcome respite from the heat and humidity in the SC lowcountry where we live. This was our second year in a row here, and the views seemed even more spectacular, the amenities were even better than before (especially the new deck), and the weather was perfect. We even had a rainbow upon arrival on Saturday! We would be signed up again for 2012, but the summer is already booked.
