Canal front property in private and quiet neighborhood. Great for families and children. Large lawn area for children to play. Dock for a boat (boat ramp is less than 5 minutes away, 4ft. draft) with fishing cleaning station, also great for fishing and crabbing. A kayak, paddle board, and two large crab pots for your use! Close to ocean and sound.
Main house:
This is a great 3 bedroom home with 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 8-10, one queen, one full, 2 bunk beds, and sofa bed. Has a wonderful screened in porch facing the water! Open living room and kitchen. Kitchen amenities include, stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster oven, coffee machine, crock pot, blender, hand mixer, grill utensils, pots/pans, baking dishes, cooking utensils, serving platters, plates, bowls, cups, and plenty of silverware. Includes a washer and dryer. Also, has a charcoal grill facing the water.

Our family spent a wonderful few days at Sound Escape. We found it to be very clean. We loved the location- the sunsets were amazing. The kitchen was well equipped, everything you could need! It was very comfortable there. You can tell the owners have put a lot of work into this place. It is an older cottage but they have made many upgrades. The owners were a delight to work with! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place for a vacation!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

Such a lovely house with a wonderful view from the rear porch. Very quiet and serene location which made for a relaxing weekend getaway. Only 5 minute drive to the beautiful beach and recommend the local restaurants - very good! Will be back with my family!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

What a beautiful house! It was very clean and had everything someone would need to enjoy their stay. The evening view was very peaceful. Enjoyed picking crabs, visiting the sound, visiting the beach, and fishing. Can't wait to visit again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

This really was a lovely place to stay while in the outerbanks. The house was clean and spacious and had all the necessities we needed. It is in a great location and we enjoyed the views of the sound. The owner was a pleasure to work with - we will certainly visit again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

With our love of the water and fishing we choose this house in Brigand's Bay. We love the access to the sound, the dock and beach! We hope you enjoy our house as much as we do!
