Enjoy completely private experience in Historic Springs on 3+ secluded rural acres that conjure Jackson Pollack's East Hampton. Only minutes from beaches and towns of East Hampton and Amagansett, but feels a world of its own.
Architect designed shingled house and barn is set among towering specimen trees with no neighbors in sight. You'll enjoy sweeping views, total seclusion and star-filled nights.
The multi-floor house is drenched in light with windows facing in all directions throughout the house. The living room, dining room and master bedroom each lead to outdoor seating areas.
Tree-lined paths throughout property lead to one field with children's play set and trampoline, one field with 50 foot heated pool surrounded by mature trees and teak lounge chairs, and one path leading to private road and 60 acre reserve at Accobonac Harbor.
Fully-appointed modern kitchen includes chef's 6-burner stovetop, stainless Bosch dishwasher, and stainless dutch door refrigerator with ice-maker. Two exposures and pass-through breakfast countertop leading to dining room make this efficient galley kitchen a pleasure in which to cook for yourselves or entertain friends. Outdoor deck off dining room includes generous seating and new gas grill and there is a temperature-controlled wine room and separate serving kitchen.
This multi-level house includes two cozy and private areas to read or relax, including a screened in porch overlooking the main grounds and a sunroom with three large skylights and floor to ceiling windows overlooking a beautiful field. Or in the carpeted family room with two exposures, curl up and watch movies or play a Wii game on a 50' flat screen TV with plenty of room for kids to play or weekend guests to sleep on the full-size pull out sleep sofa. You can also enjoy playing the upright piano.
The master bedroom has sliding glass doors leading to a private lawn, which is just steps away from an trellised outdoor shower. Inside the large bedroom is a queen size bed, built-in bureaus and an en-suite tiled bathroom with large windows and a skylight above the shower. On the same floor is the children's bedroom with two single beds that looks out to the front lawn; just beside it is a tiled bathroom with a sky light above the shower and tub.
On a floor of its own there is a sun drenched guest room with queen bed and exposures on three sides. The bedroom feels like it floats above the surrounding fields and enjoys distant views of Accabonac Harbor and beyond it Gardiner's Bay. And for the unexpected guest or teenage child, there is a charming loft bedroom in the adjacent barn that stares right into the trees with a cozy couch, queen size bed, pine bureau, and overhead fan.
Time in this house evokes the 'old East Hampton' filled with rural fields, shingled buildings and a quality of sunlight that knows no match.
