  From the moment we entered we felt at home. Light bright and fresh and extremely comfortable. Outside the wildlife was amazing. The alligator dropped by a few times and we were delighted to a "baby" alligator about 2 feet long laying on the bank. We went bike riding and since I haven't been on a bike in about 45 years I can honestly say that when they say "it's like riding a bike you never forget" it is true!! There was even a kettle for our English tea!

  Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful place with us. We really enjoyed our vacation here and plan to return. This is a fantastic vacation for all! We especially enjoyed the deck and the view. We loved watching the turtles and alligators roam around the pond.

  We came, we biked, we swam, and we drank wine. Our "find this year after coming for 20+ years was Pazzo's restaurant. Don't look for it in any advertisement ~ you won't find it. Thankfully we found it on the internet before arriving. It's a "hole-in-the-wall" sort of Italian bistro near Santa Fe restaurant and Palmetto Dunes entrance. Quite authentic classic Italian fare ~ the best and not to be missed. Also our 1st time at the Boat House (Skull Creek Boat House). Well worth the drive, funky but I think the locals go here. Truffles ~ right across the street is always a favorite of ours, very reliable and a good happy hour to boot. The condo was great! Spacious and a super location - the bikes a real plus! The pool is REALLY nice and not crowded at all this time of year. We named the alligator "Leo". I think he's looking for food but we obeyed S.C. law and he went hungry. Thank you for your hospitality. Your attention to detail is terrific!

  Well, you were right! We really did love Seapines/Hilton Head. We really had no idea what to expect but it truly did exceed our expectations. It was wonderful that the girls could just go ride off by themselves and do their thing. My husband and I would often ride our bikes down to Harbourtown in the morning, then stop into the bakery and bring back muffins and cinnamon rolls for everyone. Your villa was perfect! So comfortable and everything we could possibly need was already there. I told myself that I would write in the guestbook on the last day and then realized when we were an hour from home that I had forgotten (I will gladly write a review on VRBO if you would like). Each year I am the family member that picks where we will be staying on our vacation. Apparently I am doing something right (well, besides using VRBO) because once again my family said I've outdone myself once again. My husband LOVED the shower. In fact so much so that he said this was the best shower he had ever had, whether that be on vacation or even at home (it might help you to understand my husbands joy when I tell you that he is 6' 10" :)). My oldest daughter told me the first day that "this was her dream house", while my youngest loved its close proximity to everything, and I on the other hand could not get enough of being out on the deck and feeding the turtles. I think we packed quite a bit into our time there and the time truly did fly by. We hope to come back and will definitely love to stay in your place again. Thanks again.

  This was our third vacation in Hilton Head and I must say the best one so far! Very nice and clean condo. Everything about this property is perfect even the property owners! GREAT people to work with they let you know the does and dont's on the island as well as giving you information on different tourist actions in the area. If HHI turns out to be our destination again this year we will be staying in this condo!!! Thank you for leering our family stay in your rental.

  Our family of 5 stayed in this condo on our vacation in July of 2012. This was our second vacation on the island, and by far the better one! We absolutely loved this condo! With its location, the views, pool, and tennis courts it was the best place to stay for our family vacation. We liked the layout of the condo with kitchen, dining and living rooms downstairs and 2 separate bedrooms upstairs; it is very spacious and has lots of day light. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean and fresh. We also liked the furniture and all vacation-themed decor. The condo has a great location, quiet and secluded, with walking distance to Harbour Town and short bike/car ride to Sea Pines Beach Club. We absolutely love Sea Pines and Hilton Head Island. It is one of our favorite places for summer vacation: beach in the morning, pool, tennis and bike rides in the afternoon, dinner in a local restaurant in the evening. Even the memory of it all makes me smile and want to come back! If you are looking for rental for your next vacation, look no more. This condo does not feel like rental, it feels more like home!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

  Our family has been vacationing in Hilton Head for many years. We have rented villas in almost every neighborhood throughout Sea Pines, and this villa is one of the nicest in which we have ever stayed. The location is ideal; walking distance to Harbour Town and the shops, the views are amazing; overlooking a beautiful lagoon and the golf course where each morning we spent breakfast on the deck watching the birds, turtles and alligators. Of course, the accommodations are fantastic. The unit has two bedrooms upstairs and a very comfortable living area downstairs with a great room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. The owners’ pride in this unit is quite evident, as the furnishings and décor are new and tasteful. We appreciate the opportunity of staying there and will definitely rent this unit again.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing.

  We had a wonderful week with our family at this lovely condo. The deck was a great place to sit and watch the birds and golfers! And the turtles and alligators kept the kids entertained. The condo was exactly as described, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed having the bikes to pedal around the island. It was convenient to have the trolley across the street to take us to Harbor Town. If you like golf, tennis and outdoor activities Hilton Head is the place to be. We definitely plan to come back to this condo!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  The unit is beautifully decorated & very comfortable w/an amazing view of the lagoon. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the baby turtles hatch & seeing the alligators sun themselves. We will definitely visit again!

  This year is our second time to stay at Water's Edge, and we look forward to our return next year. This is a great place, with spectacular views of the birds, alligators, golf course, and lake. Biking and walking are our favorite activites, along with playing golf on some great courses with reasonable rates. This is a fun place in a beautiful location with terrific owners to work with.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Our family has been vacationing in Hilton Head for 20 years and your villa is one of the nicest homes that we have stayed in. The view across the lagoon and over the fairway is spectacular! We particularly enjoyed the way the turtles flock around the deck every time we step outside. They remind me of pigeons. I am happy to report that the alligator seems to content to sun himself on the far bank-though I don't think the golfers care for him. We hope to return next year.

  We have been vacationing in Sea Pines throughout the years since 1986. As usual we had a great time and the weather was perfect! Thank you for the use of your home. We were very pleased with the accommodations and would recommend your home and would gladly stay here again. We will miss Sea Pines as we return to Ohio.

  Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo! Our family has been vacationing in Hilton Head for the past eight years and we all voted this our favorite place. Some of our favorite eating spots have been the Low Country Backyard Grill, Jim and Nicks, and Delishee-yo frozen yogurt. (yum) We had such a fun and relaxing time here at "Water's Edge" and hope to be able to return one day.

  We have greatly enjoyed our time here in your home with the incredible wildlife that surrounds this place. We have watched big Al, Allison, and baby Alex alligator who sun themselves on the banks. The "hot shot" blue heron and his family, the hawk, and the beautiful birds at your lake. Thank you again for this time to enjoy your villa at "Water's Edge."

  Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay in your lovely condo. We had a relaxing week spent reading, watching movies, and gator watching. The wildlife and golfers always gave us something to watch for. We balanced our relaxation with beach walking, playing golf and miles of bike riding. Even when the rain kept us indoors the view from the living room was wonderful and allowed us to truly enjoy the "Water's Edge."
