Wonderful Santa Fe Retreat
Wonderful Santa Fe Retreat
Casita de la Paz was perfect for the two of us - we really enjoyed being able to cook, read, and have room to relax. It was comfortable, nicely laid out and decorated, and very well stocked. We loved the peaceful location; the neighborhood was lovely and so easy to get to and from the center of town (and the in town parking space was so convenient!) It was one of our favorite vacations in large part because of the Casita. We would spend the days exploring NM - hiking in the beautiful parks, exploring the Canyon Road galleries, or enjoying the hot springs, and would come home to the Casita to make dinner, relax and reflect on our adventures. We've said (more than once!) that we wish we were still there and look forward to making that happen before too long. We will certainly share our wonderful experience and recommend Casita de la Paz with our friends that are traveling your way. Thanks again for being so accommodating!

We just got back home from our three day stay at the Casita. Everything about it was great. The house is perfect for two people. It's bright and cheery with all the amenities anyone needs. It's definitely a sanctuary. It sits in a beautiful location and is very private. We loved sitting on the patio listening to the birds. We would go back.

Our stay at the mountain retreat was blissful. The guest house is light, airy, spacious, yet cozy. Every window affords a serene view. We found the amenities met all our needs: a well appointed kitchen with attention to the smallest details such as a designer pepper mill. There are intriguing details throughout the house including the art work, furniture, and well stocked library. The staff were incredibly helpful, gracious hosts. Any question was answered with care and efficiency. We thoroughly enjoyed having a retreat away from the city and then having our own parking lot near downtown so we could take advantage of all Santa Fe offers. We would love to return when the weather permits more outdoor seating on the patio.

You were absolutely right when you told me that the casita was even better than the photographs. It was just lovely. We appreciated it all....privacy yet views from every window, nice linens, your helpful information notebook, the thoughtful night light in the bath, the original art in every room, etc. It all made for a wonderful get away.

A Sanctuary ...Guest comment entered by manager
A Sanctuary ...
I want to spend a few of my last minutes here at the Casita thanking you for all of your help in advance of my trip and your gracious flexbility when I arrived. The Casita has been a sanctuary -- a place of gentle lighting, fluid design, and rich art and reads within. Nooks inside and out that allowed me to wander, sit, and get lost in books or thought. A warm rock, the hammock, the reading nook, the bedroom .... lovely. Peace and easy, endless goodness...may they always be your companions.

Birdsong PLUS Proximity to The PlazaGuest comment entered by manager
Birdsong PLUS Proximity to The Plaza
We just spent a week at the casita and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is spacious, beautifully decorated and blends so nicely with the landscape. We loved the seclusion and yet its proximity to the historic district. We were so comfortable that we were saddened to leave. Everything was to our liking right down to the selection of books in the bookcase. I particularly loved the reading nook. We spent many hours on the patio. We were in Santa Fe at this time because our son was singing with the Desert Chorale and Opera. If he returns next summer, we would love to rent the casita again for a longer period of time. Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay.
