We welcome you to our charming New England style condominium in Traverse City, Michigan. Located on Lake Michigan’s spectacular East Grand Traverse Bay, on the well-known “miracle mile”, a mile long sugar sand beach, this condominium is located in the North Shore Inn. It offers a perfect resort setting to enjoy the four-season beauty of the Grand Traverse region.
With a picturesque beachfront location, guests can enjoy a spacious heated pool and sundeck at the water’s edge, and a private 200? sandy beach. Located at the shallow end of East Bay, our beach is ideal for small children. Enjoy a great central location, convenient to dining, shopping, golf, snowmobiling, skiing and two nearby gambling casinos.
This condo sleeps two to four people. There is a queen size bed in the private bedroom and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room over looking the water. The unit is equipped with an efficient galley kitchen that has a full size range, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal and microwave. We also supply all of the utensils, pots, dishes and cutlery needed to create your culinary feast if you desire, while staying at your 'home away from home'. The living room and the bedroom have a TV , DVD player as well as full cable, HBO and high speed Internet service.
Guests can enjoy the added amenities of central air, daily free housekeeping, an elevator, and a guest laundry facility. Linens and towels are also included with your stay.
Activities: Traverse City has grown to become a four seasons resort destination with a wide range of activities for everyone, including, championship golf courses, skiing, boating, gambling, shopping, dining, theater, entertainment, wineries and the ever popular Cherry Festival.
Area: This condo at the North Shore Inn is located on US 31 North between Holiday Rd. and 4 Mile RD. directly on the beach. The East Bay location is the most popular in Traverse City as well as easy to locate when driving into town. You can't miss our blue and white sign. Our condo is very close to the Turtle Creek Casino, TART trail, many restaurants and the Cherry Capitol Airport.

From the first telephone conversation with the young woman staffing the desk when we were 1st bookg, to check in (when I met her - Chantal - & found her just as delightful), and finally to check out, our family truly enjoyed the North Shore Inn. Although not as new, nor as high as some of the other beach front "resorts," we found the accommodations to be cozy, very comfortable & the location to be ideal. On our 1st morning there, we let our teens sleep in while we went to buy a few groceries just 5 mins away. When we returned the girls were at the beach enjoying the water. The very fact that we (and they) could do this so easily (& w/out any worry was a sign of things to come. I do think that the fact that we (parents) "gave up" the master bedroom/loft w/it's own (larger) bathroom & balcony was really the master stroke though. It meant that all the teen chaos was out of sight & the common areas (livg. Room/kitchen) stayed neat. Besides, not that it occurred to them, but no one could leave or enter the townhouse w/o getting past our bedroom.... ;).Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
