Our group of 14 loved this house (4 families). It was extremely clean, simple and uncluttered. (If you have kids make sure to bring a few toys, games and puzzles as the house does not have any of these items). We have been renting houses in Michigan for 9 years and this is by far one of the better homes we have stayed in. The bedroom set up is great with 3 bedrooms with a queen and a twin, a bunk room for four which worked out great for the older kids plus there was a 5th bedroom with just a queen. The backyard and ravine next to the house kept the kids occupied exploring. The large deck and all season room were great places to hang out as well. The kitchen was stocked with basic cooking equipment, ample utensils and glasses. If you're in need of something special for a particular meal it's best to come prepared. We cooked a big meal and had no problems though with what was supplied. Overall a great value house, close to Three Oaks downtown, that we would consider staying at again.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

Just spent 2 days at Retreat - it was great. It was a wonderful place for a friends get-a-way weekend. The home was extremely clean and very well maintained, it is a remodeled old house with lots of good taste and high quality staff. The bedrooms are small but welcoming, the house is located steps away from the street but still quite. We barbecue, played games and enjoy each other most of the time. Thanks Jorge...Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

House was clean and spacious. Back porch was beautiful - very peaceful. Good proximity to Warren Dunes State Park (15 min drive). Dunes has very nice beach. Also, 10 min walk from Warren Woods State Park. Woods has well kept walking trail. Common area had many tables which made it ideal for our family. We were able to have one table for cards and games, one for jigsaw puzzles and one for eating. I think the kitchen and dining area would be small if you maxed out the capacity. Overall: two thumbs up.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We had a lovely time in this freshly rehabbed five-bedroom home. It was tastefully decorated and obviously newly painted with comfy linens and just right kitchen goods. The house is uncluttered and very clean. We loved the deck and the kids loved the firepit. We enjoyed the elephant ears at the Harbert Swedish Bakery and dinners at The Red Arrow Roadhouse and Redamak's and Timothy's and the Tabor Hill Winery. We spent two days at the Warren Dunes and did some antiquing and blueberry picking. Thanks for your hard-work, Jorge, and for your prompt email and phone responses. We would love to see you again for a winter weekend.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
