Bring your boat and keep it docked out back, or launch your kayaks at the bayfront beach just across the street. You'll find a warren of canals and mangrove-lined coves just waiting to be explored. Seeing the island from the water adds a wonderful perspective many people never experience!
A canalside heated pool and spa will be a special treat for everyone. While you're floating with a drink and a book and soaking up the sun, listen up for manatees in the canal...they especially like to visit this area during the warm spring and summer months.
Even from inside the house, you're never far from the water. Large decks run the length of the building on both front and back. Enjoy views of the canal and pool from the back deck and back bedroom with en suite bath, or open up the French doors in the front bedroom, the living area, and the kitchen and expand your options out onto the oversized front deck, where views of Tampa Bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge will never cease to fascinate. Enjoy breakfast outdoors for a terrific sunrise, or grill your dinner and watch for cruise ships leaving Tampa for exotic destinations.
