This is the nicest house you will find for rent in the coastal area. Our house is across the street from the Laguna Madre with beautiful water views. There is a video tour at your upper left (next to photo icon). There is a boat launch and wet slip just across the street. Five minutes to the island and if you are not up for the beach, there is a public pool for the kids five minutes away. It is a large home and has been totally renovated in the last six months. It is a 'Green Home' with Teak wood floors (the wood was taken from a 1920's refrigeration rail car), granite counter tops, ceramic tile and new berber carpeting. All bedding is completely new (four queens and two twins). Large screen T.V. including cable and DVD player. Full kitchen appliances (fridge, dishwasher, microwave, blender and more...). All flat ware, plates, cups, bowls and anything else for cooking is provided.

Our house is conveniently located within minutes from the Laguna Reef restaurant, marina and a short five minute drive to Padre Island, beach and shopping malls. HEB plus is just five minutes away. If you are not up for fishing but like fresh fish, you can buy fish across the street as it comes in off the boat from the fishing coop. They will clean and fillet it for you and you can have it on the grill within an hour of it coming to the docks. The black drum caught can be one of best delicacies out of the gulf.
The house has a brand new central HVAC unit. There is a large deck upstairs at the main entry and a downstairs entry by the garage with a mud room, indoor toilet and shower with bunk beds for added space when having a big group. There are two additional full bathrooms upstairs in the main house, one with integrated shower/tub and the master with a beautiful walk in shower.

We had a GREAT stay and the house was actually the BEST part of the vacation! Michael is a wonderful guy, always available to answer any questions. The vacation home is in a great location, close to all the good beaches. The home is beautiful and CLEAN!!!Everything is brand new and clean. The home is well stocked with the basic things like towels, blankets, etc. We just loved our stay, still thinking of sitting in the patio and enjoying the cool breeze, barbecue and the beautiful ocean bay in the front!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
