It took us almost 2 weeks to find this cabin. My wife had searched and searched for a cabin with 3+ bedrooms and kid friendly. She finally found this place like 2 hours after I found a place and was about to book it. When she showed me this place I changed my mind and booked this place. It's a great location on the east end of Big Bear lake and the living room view is breath taking. Once you wake up and look from this view you see both mountains that Big Bear has to offer (Big Bear Mountain & Snow Summit) right from your living room. This cabin is not for the young people looking for a party pad. This home is very well furnished, very well respected and is preferred for small to medium families. If you do decide to book this beautiful home it's a suggestion from my wife and I to utilize the bucket of peanuts. ( For the birds to put on back main level outside deck.) When you put down some peanuts you will see what Big Bear's nature will show you! I booked this home for my 3rd year wedding anniversary and it was well worth it. We have 3 children (3,2,1yrs old) and it is also very furnished for the little ones also. The owners are very helpful and communicate well. On a scale of 5 stars I give it a 7! I will for sure be renting this beautiful home in the near future!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We went to Big Bear for my fiancé’s birthday and had the best time ever- and we owe it all to this amazing cabin! The house was so spacious and clean! We went with another couple and they are already talking about going back! We are too. The cabin had so many amenities!! The location was perfect as well- near everything! The owners of the property were so warm and welcoming, they answered all of my questions and even gave us some wonderful recommendations on where to go and things to do. I cannot wait to go back and I would definitely recommend (already have) to friends and family!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I have to say that this property was all that they said it was and then some. It really has the best view on the lake. The living room is amazing for entertaining with the fireplace right in the middle. Also the open kitchen was nice to have a glass of wine while my friends cooked. Renting was so very easy and the couple we rented from were very sweet. I recommend this property to anyone and we look forward to staying here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

I, too, am going to be one of those reviewers who reluctantly is giving a glowing review-but only for my own selfish reasons because this place is too good to be true and I only want people who will respect the place to rent here! We cannot wait to go back! Our trip was to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday, so we wanted something that would be fun, yet cozy. We got exactly what we were looking for! Our communication with the owners was the first tip that everything was going to be great; they were so endearing and helpful! I think my family and I all agree that the house looked even better in persont than in the listing. Property was accurately listed and was throughly maintained and absoultely clean. The location of the home was nice and quiet and the view of the two ski resorts was beautiful. The home was decorated very nicely and felt perfectly comfortable and was suited for whatever we wanted to do- upstairs was the big screen tv and downstairs was a pool table and fun dartboard along with Xbox. We also played board games by the fireplace. Everything was super clean and convenient. We had all the ammenities we needed and the owners did a great job at making us feel at ease- both before and after our trip! The owners were 100% helpful in answering questions and offered up some suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We went to the zoo and to the snow tubing park as well as for a stroll in the village. Honestly, we would have been fine not even leaving the property- it was just that comfortable and welcoming! This home and location is certainly more geared towards a quiet, family getaway which is what we were looking for. This is not a mountain party house (inside home or neighborhood-wise), so if this is what you are looking for, a place closer to the slopes may be more suited for you. We all felt so comfortable and did not want to leave! We will be back for sure! I would recommend this property with hesitation to a family member or friend....as long as they are looking for the kind of trip that we experienced- family focused and relaxing.Did you find this review helpful? My family and I had so much fun. It is the perfect place to bring people together, yet this awesome home gives you private space. The home was so clean,. We played games, enjoyed activities in town and on the lake. We had so much fun we didn't want to leave. We can't wait for next year so we can enjoy this beautiful place again. I almost hate to write a good review because I don't want to compete for this great space. Thanks to the owners for keeping this place as a perfect get-away.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our whole family stayed at the Cabin!!!!...Cabin, It is a wonderful home, for a week. There was snow every day and the atmosphere was great for a week long Christmas party. The place had everything that was needed to have the family enjoy the time together. The rooms were perfect. The washer and dryer were a big benefit. The fireplace and living room were big hits at night. Would go again. It is a great deal.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My family and I loved staying in this cabin. With 8 adults and 4 children, we needed a place with lots of space and this cabin was a perfect choice. Plenty of room for everyone to hang out and sleep comfortably. We also loved that it was stocked with lots of games and movies for entertainment. The view was amazing and it was in a great location. The owners were great to work and we were so pleased that we will definitely be going back!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Three families gathered to share the weekend together. Grandparents, aunts and uncles enjoyed each other's company in the comfort of this beautiful home. No one enjoyed it more though, than the kids. With enough movies, games, toys and even their own little chairs, the two cousins (ages 5 and 11) had an amazing time. The adults enjoyed playing pool and darts...but mostly enjoyed sitting in comfort and relaxing to the most spectacular views from the extra large full wall of windows. We cooked full meals in the very well appointed kitchen and even used the bbq on the back deck one night for some terrific steaks! The home is on a cul-de-sac and there are perfect family hiking trails just a few houses up. We spent the days hiking and exploring the woods without any fear of getting lost. We went tubing down at Alpine Slide just a few minutes away. The fireplace was warm and welcoming when we returned 'home' for the night. The beds were so comfortable, with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The bathrooms are fully stocked with plush towels and even had the hotel feel with some extras in case you forgot something. Our entire family have already discussed the next visit to this amazing vacation home away from home!! The owners went out of their way to ensure our visit was enjoyable, putting lots of information out for us and just being so accomodating and available to us. We can't wait to return and could not recommend it enough for getting together and getting away from the hustle and bustle of life!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I have actually stayed here twice with excellence experiences both times. This last time myself and a group of quilting friends went for a quilting get away. The house had absolutely everything anyone would need for their stay! The view is spectacular, you can see straight across to the ski slopes, I would bet it's a beautiful site in the winter with the slopes all lit up! I highly recommend, would definitely stay here again! PS:The owners were great to work with also!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
