2 bedroom 865 square foot condominium which sleeps up to 6, located on the upper level (so you won't have the sound of people on the floor above), in the middle of Sunriver Village close to the specialty shops and right across from the Country Store. Six SHARC passes are included for access to the pools, slide hill and tennis courts. 6mb wifi is provided for your computer needs. Relax on the balcony with a drink while you barbecue your meal on the natural gas barbecue, or relax inside in front of the gas fireplace.
Golf, ski, play tennis, raft or kayak on the Deschutes when in season and dine in any of the fine restaurants in Sunriver within easy walking distance of the condominium.
Mt. Bachelor shuttle leaves weekdays from the lodge at 8am and returns at 4pm, and leaves at 8 and 9:30am and returns at 2 and 4pm on weekends from about Thanksgiving depending on snow conditions. Rates for the shuttle are $20/adult and $15/children age 13 and under.

My son and his girl friend came to visit. We planned a ski trip. The condo was perfect. We were on the go and only needed beds and a kitchen. It is clean and completely outfitted. Absolutely a great deal! My family owned a home in SunRiver for 15 years. They were amazed by how wonderful of a deal this property is and its condition. I absolutely recommend it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

The condo was just as advertised. Very comfortable and well maintained. Just pick up groceries-this unit is totally ready for all cooking needs, including barbque right on the deck. Plenty of extra towels, sheets, and laundry in the unit. This unit will accomodate most anyone's needs, and is perfect for families with kids. The location is directly across the way from the Sunriver Village, which includes multiple restaurants, shops, and even a grocery store. The SHARC facility is just a short walk or bike ride away, and the passes were included. The condo is also very close to lots of outdoor activities, like rafting, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely rent here again on our next visit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Everything was as described. The unit is tidy and comfortable, the vaulted ceilings make it very bright and cheery in the living room. It is compact but worked perfectly for us (2 adults and 1 child). It is located just behind the village which means you can walk to the grocery store, restaurants etc. a huge plus for us. It is also a very short bike ride to SHARC. We never needed our car since the location was so convenient. We would definitely rent it again if we go back to Sunriver.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

About the owner: We both retired on the Oregon coast and wanted to move inland and out of the constant coastal rain. We sold the house there and purchased a house in LaPine where we have lived for the last 4 years
Why the Owner Chose Abbot House:
We purchased this condo which was being used as a premanent rental unit, when the renter moved out, we entertained the idea of converting it into a vacation rental. We cleaned and remodeled the unit installing granite tile, cleaning and repainting everything and added a ceiling fan which the renters complained about the absence of for the gas fireplace to heat the unit properly. The unit is very liveable and we have had nothing but compliments from people we have shown it to. Probably the biggest input for this specific location is the location itself, which is right in Sunriver Village and so very close to the mall shops, restaurants, realty offices, book stores and was just very appealing to us and we thought other people might feel the same way
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
There are 33 miles of walkways and bicycle paths for relaxing walks or bicycle rides to explore Sunriver. Thre are numerous activities available from horseback riding, rafting, kayaking and your choice of 2 golf courses right in Sunriver during the summer months, to skiing, snowboarding and tubing and cross country skiing and snowmobiling on Mt. Bachelor during the winter months. Shuttles provide transportation between Sunriver and Mt. Bachelor. The Nature Center and Domed observatory are open Tuesday through Saturday for viewing planets and constellations.
