Lanesville is located on Cape Ann in North Gloucester between Annisquam and Rockport. It is about a 45-60 minute car or train ride to Boston. Located in a residential area close to a small beach and picturesque cove, the house is located at the dead end of a street in a rustic woody area abutting conservation land.
Close to Lanes Cove, Dogtown,and Halibut Point State Park, with immediate access to trails to Dogtown and swimming Quarries. (If you love the outdoors, there is trail walking, mountain biking, kayaking, and scuba diving within a short walk from the house.) A short trail walk through the woods brings you to our local beach offers what has been named by National Geographic one of the Top Ten World's Best Sunsets with views to New Hampshire and Maine.
The village offers antique and collectables stores, ice cream - coffee shop, a convenience store, and a local liquor store, while other grocery shopping and retail shopping are within 15 minutes drive.
The house is an older cottage ranch-style with a fireplace. It has many appliances as well a is cable/phone ready. There is a front, side, and backyard with some garage storage.
