  This location was everything we wanted and more. We had 12 guys for a weekend get away, and The Barn was absolutely perfect. The owners and staff are incredibly helpful and ensure that the stay is pleasant. Everyone wanted to stay a few more days. Highly recommended!

  We stayed at the lake last weekend with a large group to celebrate my birthday, and it could not have been a more perfect place!! From the moment we arrived, Tim and Jon were available for our every need. The outdoor fire pit was the best place to be on cool spring evenings, and the kitchen is simply to die for!! There was enough space for everyone in the group to spread out, and plenty of common area to come together. We will certainly back again next year.

  The Barn was the most incredible vacation home any of us have ever visited. The high ceilings, plush furniture, sumptuous beds, large grassy areas, stainless steel appliances, and squeaky clean bathrooms made the trip unforgettable. The home was beautifully furnished and abundantly stocked with all the household items we needed (and more)! All you have to do is bring food & clothing. There were nearby markets in case you forgot anything, and some decent restaurants in the area. The neighborhood was quiet, and safe. The roaring fire kept us warm at night (the house itself was heated and toasty as well). Jon (the owner), and Tim (the assistant) were amazing – they responded quickly to our inquiries and were extremely flexible. A few of the guests visited the neighboring Copake Lake Golf Course and said it was an amazing course with stunning mountaintop views. I went with a group of 12 last weekend (04/12-04/14/2013) and we all had a wonderful time! The Barn is an unbelievable vacation home, you will not regret staying there! Neither words nor pictures can sufficiently describe how amazing it is in person. It was the perfect weekend getaway for old friends. Now we’re all sad to be back to reality… Just a few tips for future visitors: 1. The property is peaceful and quiet, but as a result, it does get really dark at night. Bring an extra flashlight or two to get around in the nighttime. 2. You really don’t have to pack much - the barn was stocked with everything we needed-cookware, dinnerware, paper towels/toilet paper, linens, pillows, towels (bath & hand), cleaning supplies, soaps, shampoo, washing machine/dryer, detergent, vacuums, fans, bicycles, helmets, kayaks, everything!! We kept finding more and more items throughout the visit.

  Gorgeous, modern, comfortable, serene---this place is everything you want in a weekend away. The owners take very good care of the barn and of you---when we arrived, the fire had been lit for us and there were fresh-cut flowers in every room. Can't wait to return!

  This house is incredibly beautiful and we can't wait to come back next summer! Jon and Kim were excellent and available to anything we could need all time. They also own a wonderful restaurant very close to the barn "Greens Restaurant" that is a must for excellent food and service. I would recommend the barn to a friend. Thanks Jon and Kim! N

  My family spent Thanksgiving week at the Barn and were so overjoyed with our stay. The owners were more than accurate about the rental. They provided us with aminities like a hotel would provide. (Beautiful white cotton robes in all the bathrooms, bottles of water, soda, beer & juice free of charge). We also found fresh flowers all over the house including all the bathrooms. All the photos did not do the property justice it was better in person, beautiful, clean & well maintained. The caretaker was friendly, polite & very helpful. We highly recommend this property & plan to return ourselves.

  My closest girlfriends and I just spent a HEAVENLY weekend at The Barn at Copake lake. The house was incredible and Tim the assistant was more than helpful at making sure all our needs were met. The kitchen was to die for as were the HUGE king sized beds. This is a place NOT to be missed.

  My husband and I spent a wonderful week in The Barn along with our adult daughter. This unique property provides an opportunity to rest, relax, and take advantage of the beautiful scenery and activities in neighboring towns. No stone was left unturned in designing and decorating this home and the owner, Jon, is always ready to provide you with any needs or wants. We also ate at The Greens several times and the food was delicious and the setting charming. We are hoping to return with the rest of our family in tow for another week. We barely scratched the surface in terms of day trips and museums, etc. Hudson is less than a half hour away, and Great Barrington and Lenox in the Berkshires are not much further. Farm fresh foods abound and just meandering the county roads(along with the culinary treats) is enough to satisfy one's soul. Thanks for the memories which will linger a lifetime.

  Our family spent a week in this beautiful five star accommodation. We have three children 21, 10 and 8 and there was something for everyone. The owner Jon and his staff could not have been more generous with their time. The entire week they constantly communicated with us to ensure our trip was pleasurable. The Barn was clean, beautiful and extremely peaceful. We went out on the lake, sat by the glowing fire pit and enjoyed the game room. Everything we needed was at our fingertips and anything that was not was brought over within minutes. We will definitely revisit.
