Rob, What a special corner of the world Las Gaviotas is and what a fabulous house you have in it! We enjoyed the spacious and spectacular views, even on gray days. Rob, Even though we forgot to leave a note last time, you know how much we loved it since I was back a month and a half later. Hope your cleaning lady was able to sort through the dishes. About the owner: Retired 63 yr old father; (Baby-Boomer) raised in Southern California; published writer; Fundraiser; Community Volunteer, Interior Designer, Christian - who 'loves Baja California - Mexico'. Especially enjoy spending time with my family and friends in this home. It's a 'retreat' home. Especially enjoy the sounds and smells of the Pacific Ocean, which provide me daily solitude and peace when staying in this Las Gaviotas home.
Why the Owner Chose Las Gaviotas:
Las Gaviotas is a private gated community, 24 hour security, and often considered a suberb of San Diego, CA. #28 Casa Azulejo - is only 20 minutes from the San Diego Border or/ 45 minutes from the San Diego Airport and Downtown. You wake up daily to 'White Water Views' - and of surfers, dolphins, whales, cruise ships and fishing boats in the ocean. Las Gaviotas is considered the 'Crown Jewel of Developments' in Northern Baja. It's built in a Mexican Colonial design with all homes having 'red tile roofs', along the Pacific Ocean.
This home is very large approximately 3,500 to 4,000 sq ft; handicapped accessible - considered one of the 'nicest' of all 5 bedroom homes in Las Gaviotas. Newly furnished, recently remodeled and Designer Decorated. Home welcomes 'return guests' on an annual basis. Great for 2 families or/ large groups.
