Wow, we had two familys staying at this home, in July 2012, Beautiful, comfortable, Fun, exciting, relaxing, It was very hard for us to deside each day if we should leave this house for other activivties or just stay put far the day. We brought a pair of jet skis with us and that was a blast, So many paddle type boats to use, i think we could have had one for each person, we had 9 people very comfortable, Warning: if can't find one of the kids i could take up to 10 mins to locate them on this property, We had a blast, White water rafting, Deep Creek tubing, Tail of the dragon, Hiking trails, We even camped out with our tents on a little island on the lake. This is Two Houses, Thanks for a great Place, We will be backRecommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We have stayed on this lake for the last 10 years over the summer. What a great house!! Kitchen was well equipped, Bedrooms were large and beds were very comfortable. Location was beautiful. Boat was a little slow and hard to steer but we still had fun with it. Would definitely stay here again!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: My husband is a professional contractor and painstakingly designed every inch of this craftsman style home. Every window is placed for optimal views even in the bathroom! Furnished in Bob Timberlake furnishings you will feel like you have your own private mountain resort!
Why the Owner Chose Lake Santeetlah:
After being on lakes where the noise/crowd level was so high, Santeelah is like a breath of fresh air. Many times the lake is so still that it acts as a mirror of the beautiful mountains. The million dollar view from our property sealed the deal!

There are bald eagles nesting nearby. The town is friendly and safe. The local Ingles grocery is minutes away and is well stocked and the produce is always fresh.
