Gorgeous mountain and valley views including a panoramic view of Stowe village, three decks, wood floors, two full bathrooms, and space for the kids and the adults to gather in the well proportioned living room complete with a wood burning fireplace. There is great sledding right out your back door. This nonsmoking, pet friendly house is available today. Please call or email. We accept credit cards and are able to accommodate last minute plans.
Completely refinished: The house has been extensively refinished over the past two years with solid maple flooring in all the bedrooms, brand new Anderson windows designed to maximize the morning light and spectacular mountain and valley views. Also added; enhanced new lighting, state of the art laundry facilities, flat screen LCD television, and even a breakfast bar with kitchen pass through and modern leather bar stools.

My family and I stayed at this house for a week over spring break and loved it! We have two young kids, 7.5 and 2.5 and it was perfect. Our little one did not have any trouble navigating through the sprial stair case, although we were sure to keep a close eye on him. The fireplace is lovely on a cold day and the house is stocked with more than you need....dishes, utensils, movies, games, blankets, etc. Although on the cozy side, the house was ideal to get away from work and the crazy nature of life and just spend time together. The washer and dryer area a nice touch when skiing on a daily basis. And, to avoid having to actually pack for an entire week. We met the gentleman who lives in the apt below and he was very nice. He was there first thing in the morning to clear the path of snow and was never a bother. It was nice knowing there was someone keeping an eye on the property. My only reco would be for the owners to start a book to leave in the house. That way, previous guests can leave tips of good restaurants to try and places to go/see. Not knowing the area, it would've been good to have that as a reference. We will definitely rent this house again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The cottage was exactly as described and was clean and very welcoming. Beautiful fireplace, fabulous Vermont scenery and tons of videos and games for that after supper family gathering. Joshua was very quick in answering any questions I had and the mentioned renter downstairs was of no consequence and in fact was always keeping up with the stairs and path being clean of snow. Distance from the village was a 5 minute drive. I would highly recommend this quiet and scenic cottage.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This home is conveniently located to the town of Stowe and an ideal location to tour all of the North/Central Vermont area. It is well equipped and a comfortable home to come home to after a day of touring. The owner responded quickly to any questions I had prior to the rental. We loved Vermont!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
