Lovely apartment, perfect central location. Clean, cozy suite - well-stocked with all the necessities to make one's stay comfortable. I did run into a little hiccup upon my arrival, but Martin answered my text msg almost instantly, and was quick to address my concerns. I generally travel with my little Westie, and this location is ideal. A short block from Stadacona Park for walks, as well as the Governor's house about 10 mins away. I was a little concerned that, being on Fort St., I'd be dealing with traffic noise. But the suite is on the back side of the house, so it was very quiet. On the fringe of Oak Bay, restaurants are plentiful. Beacon Hill Park is a few kms away. Shopping is close, as well as downtown with all Victoria has to offer! Craigdarroch Castle is a few mins walk, and the beautiful character homes in the area are worth a look. I'm keeping this suite in my list of "returns" - I'd definitely recommend it & I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

I've always wanted to visit Victoria and had a lot of pent up anticipation for this trip, which in my experience can be the perfect set up for disappointment. But to my great joy, everything turned out better than dreamed of. We stayed in a lovely furnished suite on Fort just a few blocks from downtown. We had a small grocery store a block away and the bus at the corner. But the best part was that this suite was beautifully furnished and perfectly equipped for our two week stay. The place is an old stately home that was turned into suites. Loved it. And will visit again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.
