Our home sold more quickly than we had anticipated, so we needed a place to stay until our new home was completed. This was the PERFECT place for our family of 4 to stay for the 3 months. The screened porch was great, and we enjoyed it even on some warm February days. The location in the heart of Myers Park, one of Charlotte's best neighborhoods, can't be beat, and Jim and James' hospitality was superb. My husband works Uptown, so it was very convenient for him, less than 2 miles, and the nearby grocery and lots of restaurants made it easy for me. We enjoyed having a fully-equipped kitchen, with all utensils, etc., for meals at home, but also liked being able to walk to a wide variety of restaurants, something we'll miss in our new home. We would highly recommend the condo to anyone needing temporary housing. They stay well-booked, but have almost 20 different condos and apartments.Did you find this review helpful? We stayed at this property for our annual college roommate reunion. The condo is in a fabulous, old walking neighborhood. Restaurants and shopping are nearby. Downtown is less than 10 minutes away. The apartment is clean with comfortable beds. The owners are welcoming and even texted us when we arrived, along with continuing to text us with a nearby restaurant recommendation for that evening. The decor is hip...how they pulled off contemporary Asian with vintage, I have no idea! The apartment complex is old, so you can hear faint footsteps above and the outer door opening and shutting. However, the bedrooms were really quiet and the complex is a quiet, sedate building. I would definately recommend this location and/or renting from the owners again. 10 thumbs up (there were 5 of us staying there)!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

We stayed 1 week @ 500 Queens Road, and wish we could have stayed longer! The condo was perfect, sporting 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Contemporary decor enveloped us, but with a home touch that defies description. We quickly adopted it as, "our place"!!! Easy access, intimate screened porch, and all the welcoming ammenities: wine, spaghetti dinner, coffee...need we say more? We look forward to our next trip to Charlotte knowing that we are welcomed at Queens Road. We have traveled extensively and find this special space to be at the top of our list!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This place was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, and charming. As are the owners. We wanted for nothing and got more than we expected. (Took home a few decorating tips too.) We would recommend this place to anyone looking for great space in the perfect location.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We stayed with our 2 children at this beautiful apartment. Jim is friendly and checks in to make sure your stay is going well. The owners have totally re-done this property to include all high-end appliances, new and modern furnishings and super comfortable beds. The apartment was super clean and we were welcomed with wine and a few food items to get us started. The location is excellent and is a short drive close to shopping and dining in Southpark, Uptown or Pineville. This is an excellent alternative to a hotel, with the privacy of 2 separate bedrooms and all you need as your home away from home. Thank you for your hospitality, we look forward to staying with you again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

The Condominium we stayed in was exceptionally clean and had every amenity you would wish for while on vacation. We recently stayed at this property for a long weekend. We would highly recommend this property. It was spotlessly clean and provided everything mentioned on the VRBO website. The location could not have been better. It was only about 1 and 1/2 miles from downtown Charlotte but was in a very quiet, clean, peaceful, relaxing , uncrowded, low traffic neighborhood. Parking for this property was very easy, convenient, and plentiful. The beds were very comfortable. Everything in the kitchen appeared to be brand new. There were 3 very good quality flat screen TV's. Everything was in good working order. We would definitely stay here on our next visit to Charlotte. It is so much better than a hotel room. The owners provided 3 phone numbers to contact them if needed. We had no need for this during our stay but it was nice to have available in case anything came up.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

My wife and I stayed at the Queens Terrace location for a long weekend recently. We were in town for a wedding and our family had a number of units rented. All I can say is WOW! I have rarely stayed at hotels that could match the quality of these suites, and I saw several! All were impeccably designed and each, an original. From the fine details of the art on the walls, the furnishings, the iPod radio, flat screen TVs, wood floors, designer rugs, and on and on, we felt like we were guests at an interior designers home! About the owner: My husband James and I travel extensively, and prefer to stay in furnished residences rather than hotels. We started our business, The Home Collection, after a trip to Istanbul, where we stayed in an apartment in the heart of an upscale neighborhood. The tourist area was overrun with tacky gift shops, overpriced and bad restaurants, along with hundreds of cruise ship passengers, and we were thankful to be in such a quiet neighborhood, where we could enjoy restaurants, shops and food markets that only locals patronized. It gave us a real appreciation for how living in Istanbul was, its people, traditions and culture. We love sharing our knowledge of Charlotte with our guests, whether it's a new restaurant, an art opening or a doctor referral. I'm a 3rd generation Charlottean, and we go out of our way to ensure you have a great time in our city.
