After being displaced for the fourth month after the dreadful flooding of September 2011, I find myself thinking about your house on Primehook Reserve daily. I miss waking to step out on the back porch and over looking the nature reserve. I miss it's beauty, it's serene atmosphere and its gorgeous wildlife. The house is amazing, the location is outstanding and the hosts are lovely. I have discovered.... I *have* to go back.

Your place is super cute and clean! We had a great time this weekend. The house and views were awesome and the birds were everywhere. The neighborhood is perfect -- so peaceful and great for jogs and bike rides. The location is great -- we went relaxed in the quiet in the mornings and then went down to Rehoboth each afternoon for a little shopping, dinner, etc. We will probably want to come back - no surprise, right! Thanks so much.

We enjoyed Primehook and your home very much. We were very comfortable. The kids had a blast. The bike rental worked out. We fished,swam, explored the area. All the beach floats and chairs were plenty. Our dog had a blast -- met a friend (Bailey, the Irish Setter) and didn't want to leave (really, we had to carry her off the back deck, which is where she spent most of her time).

The home was wonderful and it was the most relaxing vacation I have EVER had in over 40 years. The back to the estuary was a total surprise and we enjoyed every single moment of it. We had 94 birds from the deck alone and the best was an American Woodcock on the lots adjacent to your property. Was wondering if the Hook owned them, but when the Marsh Monster came through trying to spray the Phragmites and got stuck they said they didn’t. Could live there all year long and be happy as a clam. We are contemplating the same time next year if the family does not come over from England. We are also interested in an Early May week in 2009.

June 2010 -- I was just visiting the website for your Primehook site, and saw that you now have posted information about yourselves including that you bought the property in 2004. I stayed at the house in late August/early September 2004, with a few days to myself . . . I don’t think I really appreciated that I must have been one of your first-season rentals. You had done such a wonderful job with the house (I particularly was delighted with the idea of the screening UNDER the porch floor – ingenious). Having time to myself to walk the beach, tossing the horseshoe crabs back into the water, or just sit and read, with the waves, birds and a very occasional human my only companions, let me start to gather myself together and recharge . . . I’m thinking about the beauty of the place and (since the summer is just packed solid) possibly a fall visit.
