Gorgeous Home Less Than 5 Mi from Main South Entrance to Zion!
- Minimum stay:3 nights
- Internet:Yes
- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:Yes
The Rockville Rose Inn has been a successful bed & breakfast for the past five years. We are now excited to offer our home to you for your private vacation retreat. Rockville is a small, very quiet town less than five miles from the main south entrance to Zion National Park. You will have easy access to the park and all the restaurants and shops nearby, but still be able to escape to your own peaceful spot with a beauty all to itself.
There are four bedrooms which can sleep eight (8) people maximum. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and Direct TV, and there is WiFi throughout the house. The large kitchen and dining room have everything you would need to provide meals for yourselves. Relax in the living room, on the large wrap around porch or anywhere on the huge lawn surrounded by fruit trees. In addition, there is RV hookup on the property (electric and water). While property is handicap/wheelchair accessible, there are some limitations. Upon booking details can be discussed.
Being a former B&B, we do have a property manager who lives in a separate apartment in the back of the house. They have their own entrance and you will not be disturbed by them or even know that they are there. If you need to do laundry during your stay, you will need to coordinate a schedule with them for access.

Our three generation family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at Rockville Rose. The home was very clean. Each of the four bedrooms (one king and three queens) had their own baths. They have a very large and extremely well equipped kitchen. We all loved the large dining room/sunroom with windows all around. We were approximately five miles west of Zion NP, where we did lots of hikes. The weather and fall color were beautiful. We hope to return. Thank you to the Owners.Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

We were very happy with our stay here and didn't want to leave. This house used to be a bed and breakfast and still has some of the signs related to that, such as what time breakfast will be served. Each room has its own bathroom and a reasonable amount of privacy. The community is very quiet and peaceful. Our first night we arrived after dark and had a difficult time finding the house because it was so dark. But it sure was awesome sitting in the back yard and looking up at the stars. The location is just a few minutes from Springdale and the park, which was perfect for us. Note that the information states that the initial stock of supplies will not be replenished. For our six night stay we needed to buy more toilet paper. We did experience some minor issues during our stay with the plumbing and the internet, but the property manager lives on site and was very accommodating. Overall, the home is well maintained. If you plan to use the kitchen, I'd recommend buying your supplies in Hurricane or St. George on your way in. Sol Foods in Springdale is convenient, but quite expensive. When we return to Zion again with a small group, this will be our choice for lodging if it is available.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

I stayed here recently with my husband, my two sons, and two sets of grandparents. Each room is lovely, has it's own bathroom, tv's, luggage racks, etc. There's no need to argue about who gets the master bedroom, as they are all set up like mini suites. The property itself is beautiful. We spent much of our time on the patio. It was great to have a BBQ and well equipped kitchen. My kids loved it, especially the large front lawn and play set in the back. My ten year old givesit he Rockville Rose 5 stars too. This home had everything you might need and is obviously well cared for. The owners were accommodating to our requests, easy to contact, and easy to deal with. My family loves Zion, so I suspect we'll be back again next year!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

My family of 7 stayed at the Rockville Rose in July 2012. Kathryn and Mike ran it for years as a successful bed and breakfast, but they just this month turned it into a VRBO. Great for all of us VRBO users! I have rented through VRBO for at least 10 years, and I always read reviews and look at who is booked. I took a gamble on this house simply because it did not have many bookings and very few reviews. Lucky for me I checked TRIPADVISOR before and saw the wonderful reviews and pictures before I booked. As I expected from the TA reviews, this house was amazing, The house was exceptionally clean--from beds to floors to kitchen-- and the outside was beautiful! It is great for location-- five miles from Zion NP! It is great for families. We especially loved the fact that the kids could go to their room and watch TV at the end of the day as we sat downstairs and watched the Olympics. Kerry, who lives in the apartment at the back, was friendly and helpful. I never even knew she was there, except when I went to her apartment to ask a question. Kathryn was very helpful with places to visit, and I really felt welcome I her house. It was like being at my own place. If you are someone who loves to fix your own meals and unwind in a comfortable setting at the end of the day, this is exactly what you want. There was a swing set for the kids and a beautiful patio for the adults! We will return, but after seeing this place, I am sure that many more people will be staying. The Rockville Rose is the best VRBO we've stayed in!Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

We stayed here for 2 weeks. It felt like home, since it has all the amenities of home. The very large kitchen and dining room was our main gathering area. The living room is ample for the group to lounge and relax after a day of hiking and sightseeing. Every bedroom is comfortable and excellent for a quiet night's sleep. The country room is like it's own suite within the house. The huge yard and play area are wonderful for the kids. The house sits way back from the road, so the road noise is non existent. Everything was sparkling and inviting. We loved the roses all around the house. When staying here, drive to the edge of Springdale and then take the city shuttle to the visitor center, then transfer to the park shuttle into the park. If you are ambitious you can take the 4 mile walk to Grafton, the historic Butch Cassidy hangout and pioneer settlement,, don't forget the cemetery on your way. The Rockville Rose is definitely the best home to stay while visiting the Zion area.Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

About the owner: We live and work in Las Vegas, raising two boys. Mike has run a fine dining restaurant on the Strip for almost ten years, and Kathryn works at the kids' school caring for the toddlers. Life is busy, and we and the boys love coming to Zion to slow down and enjoy a touch of country life as often as we can.
Why the Owner Chose Zion National Park:
We consider this our second and future permanent home. We fell in love with Zion years ago and couldn't pass up this place when it became available. We've loved improving it and making it our own, and hope others can enjoy it as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Zion National Park is a great base camp for visiting and exploring nearby national parks and monuments such as Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Grand Canyon and more.
