From the beginning of the rental process through our glorious week in Villa 1, Rosemarie made sure our vacation week was without a flaw; even down to the beautiful sunny week without rain! She is by far the hardest working owner/mgr in rental business, constantly striving to ensure each rental property is in top notch condition. The views were outstanding and the pool was blessedly heated!!! THANK YOU so much, Rosemarie, for allowing us to stay in your lovely villa.

Wonderful Stay at a Wonderful Place

My future husband and I spent five marvelous days in Villa 3. It was very simple to find from Ft Lauderdale Airport and the listing description is very accurate, however, it is actually much larger than it appears in the photographs. What a great place to have as either a hideaway for a very exhausted couple who needed some serious downtime from hectic jobs (like us) or as a point place to explore the surrounding area. It was close to grocery stores and drug stores in addition to a slew of restaurants. Just a short hop and a skip to a wonderful beach. As I mentioned, we spent our time mostly relaxing. What a delight to step 10 feet out the backdoor and slip into the small, but warm and inviting pool. Each day I was there, I spent a number of hours just sitting in pool and reading. And, in the evenings, the pool area was even more beautiful with the up lighting and foliage. Very magical. There was not one thing you could possible need that was not supplied in the rental. Truly, all you needed to bring was clothing and then to go buy groceries. I have every plan to come back with a couple of female friends. I know it will be a great escape for the three of us. I cannot recommend the Waterway Villas any higher. It is perfect for friends, couples, older folks - really just about anyone. I cannot also speak as highly as I would like about Rosemarie. What a wonderful hostess indeed. When my fiance arrived at the airport to fly back to Sacramento, we determined that he could not find his passport. Panic time. I called Rosemarie and asked if she could check to see if it had been left in one of the drawers (men!). Sure enough, it was there. While breathing somewhat easier, I asked if she would be willing to mail it to him next day mail. She gladly agreed and it was here when we finally arrived. How great is that? Again, I highly recommend Waterway Villas to anyone who desires a quiet, peaceful, lovely vacation. I wish I were still there. Thank you for everything, Rosemarie. Victoria Anderson and Evrol Dixon

I was so pleased we found such a great place before our cruise. The Villa was so easy to find, the layout was nice with the double queen bedroom separated from the other two bedrooms. The dining table was a little tight but we managed well. We were pleasantly surprised at how close everything was too. Everything we needed was only a few minutes away. We rented a car, but the couple staying in the other Villa walked everywhere since it was so close. The Greek Islands Taverna was excellent for dinner. The kids LOVED the pool while the adults enjoyed the patio to relax. Also, we enjoyed the company of our neighbors staying in the other Villa very much. I was surprised that the washer & dryer were in the courtyard and coin operated, but I was very happy it was there and it wasn't too inconvenient or expensive ($3 for a full load washed and dried). When we're in Ft. Lauderdale again I hope to stay we can stay with Rosemarie again and I would definitely recommend this property to others. I also heard great things about her other properties as well.

Just a quick note to say 'thank you so much' for letting us stay in your lovely villa in May. The villa was just as you had promised and had everything we could have needed! The pool was beautifully warm, which was so lovely (nothing worse for me than a pool you don't want to get into!) and we spent most of our day around it having fun as a family. It was so lovely that our 4 children (all in their 20's) didn't want to venture out much farther away than the nearby Shooters Bar! Our favourite spot was the lovely waterfront terrace, which was where we spent every evening just relaxing and eating together, watching the yachts and the water taxis sail by - Bliss!, We can't say enough good things about the villa and have recommended it to all our friends. We will not think of staying anywhere else next time we visit Florida - which will be very soon I hope. Thank you again for all your kind help and for making the rental such an easy process, it was much appreciated.

Lovely Stay

The Villas are very comfortable and well equipped. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Also the double bathrooms is convenient after coming back from the beach. We very much enjoyed sitting on the backside of Villa 1 in the evening to barbecue and watch the sunset. And there was enough room for 12 persons to sit together. The poolarea is also very nice with space for many persons. The children enjoyed very much to play around the pool.We also appreciated the walking distance to the near beach where it was more privacy. And still it is close to Ft Lauderdale beach and stores. Everything worked fine on arrival and it was easy to get in contact with you if we had any questions.We would be happy to come again to Ft Lauderdale and stay in your Villas.

Villa 1 is a great place to stay. It is very clean, the location is fantastic, wireless internet allows connections, the view from the back porch is stunning, BBQ works well. Stores and fantastic restaurants are nearby. The beautiful beach is within walking distance. Overall highly recommendable place. The owner responds immediately and everything was found as promised. We would love to come back. Thanks very much!!!

Great Place, Great Location, Great Owners

We stayed in March for my son's wedding. Great set up for six adults. We were three blocks from the Ft. Lauderdale beechs or we could sit on the deck and watch the boats on the intercoastal water. We could not have asked for better hosts, Checking in and out was hassle free and the listing description was accurate. Close to shopping and resturants. Rosemarie let us tour her other homes and all were well maintained and I would recommend any of Rosemarie's properties to friends and relatives.

My three friends and myself from Massachusetts and N.H. spent a week in the Villas in March this past year. We stayed in the 3 bedroom Villa and couldn't have been more pleased with it. Besides the great accommodations the other great feature was the oversized patio outside the backdoor which overlooks the intercoastal waterway. The villa was well equipped with everything we needed. It was a great vacation and would highly recommend the villas to anyone with plans to stay in Fort Lauderdale.

coming back to our staying in you property we have to tell you that we really had enjoyed every day, starting in the morning with a good breakfast on the big terrace with a nice view over the waterways. Due the good position of your property we had only short distances to the beach, to the center and all the golf courses nearby. the accommodation was very comfortable and almost luxury. We have to thank you about your hospitality and we are looking forward to coming again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at villa #1. The location was convenient (5 minute walk or 2 minute bike ride) to one of the most beautiful stretches of beach in the city. We rode our bikes to and from the grocery store and bakery (5 minute bike ride). The villa itself is lovely and spacious; well decorated and supplied, located in a tidy neighborhood with restaurants and cafes within walking distance and located directly on a canal with a breathtaking sunset view ! The private patio and the pool were very nice, and we made use of the gas grill several evenings. I would definitely recommend this rental property and would rate it 10/10 !! -- Dede

Beautiful villa on the water

We had a wonderful vacation time in this villa facing the water canal. The villa shares a heated pool with 2 other units, and that's where my youngest spent most of his time, since the ocean was too rough for him. My wife and I had fun on the beach (2 blocks away) and fishing from the back porch was also a huge plus for us. The Villa was clean and comfortable. The owners (Rosemarie and Jay), a great source of information if you are new to the area (like I was).

Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway.

For me, my family and relatives this was the perfect place to stay in Florida. A very comfortable home for 2 weeks where everything you could possible need was in place. We were a group of 8 persons staying in two of the villas (2, 3) and this was very convenient. Perfect when you want to spend time together with friends or relatives but still have your privacy when you wish. The location couldn't be better. A few minutes walk to the beach and then the pool for a refreshing swim in the evenings or early mornings. Since we were a large group we naturally wanted to do different things. The "Waterway Villas" is a perfect starting point because of it's location in Fort Lauderdale. Some wanted to drive down to Key West one day and o the Everglades another. Myself and my family went to Orlando (stayed a night at a hotel and longed back!). Also, we felt that we were taken good care of at all times. For example, one night (and it was quite late) we happened to lock ourselves out! No problem, one phone call and 15 minutes later Rosemarie came with the key. Excellent service. We've been to Florida several times and the next time we go, the "Waterway Villas" will be our first choice. You feel right at home or better! PS. I almost forgot, the "Waterway Villas" is located the waterfront so you can see boats passing by in the canal, nice! Kindest regards Pernilla

We stayed at the waterways villa for the 2nd year in a row! Great place to stay! It is always clean and organized and close to the beach (10 min walk)!! We have a young child and this place is great for young kids too...while the kids sleep you can swim in the pool and BBQ, which is at the same level as the villa. Rosemarie was also very accomodating and friendly...was able to supply us with playpen/crib and any info we needed. This year we went to the Miami Metrozoo which was a short 40min drive! Sawgrass Mills mall is 20min away...although there is a great mall just 5 min away. I recommend a car to be able to really enjoy Fort Lauderdale! Carla from Montreal,Canada

Villa 1 worked very well for my group. Three guys each with their own bedroom. In the long run this was less expensive than having individual hotel rooms. We enjoyed having drinks on back patio while watching the boats travel the intercostal waterway. The place was very clean and all the necessities needed were provided. We walked to Shooters and Charley's crab resturants for afternoon happy hour...both very nice. The beach is within a 3 block walk...this section of beach is mostly retiree's from what I could tell. Although the famous Beach Front Ave is less than a 3/4 mile away to see and enjoy all the action. I thought this was a perfect location with action close, yet peaceful and quite when settling down for afternoon at villa.

Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Our stay at your place was great,there were no problems with anything when we requested a light in the corner for reading you got one for us right away.the facilities and the pool were also great,pleanty of room inside and lots of room to park,also the villa was very clean and tidy. we would recomend and we have told our friends about your villas. if we can get away this year we would surley give you a call to book our stay..
