  Except for a little trouble finding the place it was very clean, cute and cozy. loved that it was within a mile of great beaches, had a lot of fun things, chairs, bikes, boogy boards and more. loved the spot and feel of the neighborhood. Kristen was very helpful and informative. Would come back again!

  Spent 28 days in this great cottage. Place was clean and had just about everything new in the kitchen. Owner indicated that the bathroom would be updated later this year. We very much liked the unit and would have liked to return in 2014, but see she rented it out, without maybe asking if we would be back next year. I can see only 4 people using this unit, not six, for it would be a little tight. The hide-a-bed, in the living room should be replace, especially if six are in the unit. Also I would replace coffee table, in living room. Don't get me wrong, WE WOULD STAY HERE IN A HEART BEAT. Close to just about anything you need and in a quiet location. The owner, Kris, is quiet helpfull and will take care of anything right away. She lives on the island, so no need to contact a res. manager or owner on the mainland. In need of a car? I would rent the car she has. I would like to thank Kris and her staff for making our extended stay so enjoyable and hope we can return.

  very pleasant, stay for two nights, have everything we need. owner let us stay extra hours for late afternoon flight, so kids can take their afternoon nap before boarding.

  Recommended for: Families with young children.

  This cottage was very comfortable and in a great location. It truly was secluded and quiet and well outfitted for a stay near the beach! It is located close to beaches, resturants, and stores. I will definately be coming back here my next trip to Maui!

  We had a wonderful time with our stay at this property. It is very close to the action and the beach. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The Ocean's Pub had a great Mexican night on Tuesday. The local market is close as well. Had everything that would need to cook or do laundry, as well as bikes and water equipment if needed. Only thing that would have made it alittle better would have been a dvd player.

  This property was great! Everything in the description is correct. The great thing about this property is the use of the öther"things when staying in Maui - this includes things like: boogie boards, sand mats, snorkel equipment, 4 bikes, kayak, etc. Sitting in the Hotub everynight was a big plus too. Krysten was great to deal with and very good at getting back to you for any questions you might have. The only thing to be aware of is this property does have 2 other rental" properties on it but the way they are situated it is still quite private - the courtyard landscaping is amazing and helps in this matter. All in all a great place to stay in paradise!

  My family of 8 , ranging in age from 5 mths. to 50 plus had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Kristin's Plantation bungalow. It's spacious and private and has a great courtyard for some pale skinned Albertans to get a respite from too much sun. The house and property are large and we never felt like we were bumping into each other. Everyone had their own space. The self contained studio was perfect for our daughters family as it is all self contained yet attached to the main house. It all has a very classy and homey feel about it and the beds are comfortable. It has AC but you don't need it because the ceiling fans are so quiet and effective. It's nicely located in that everything is in walking distance, morning coffee at Starbucks, the beach front park or great fish tacos at the small mall nearby that has any groceries or libations you may require. The bikes and beach toys in the garage where a nice touch as was the tandem kayak in which we went to see the sea turtles just off the nearby beach. In summary, the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Because play pens and cars seats are provided we didn't have to haul them with us on the plane. The place was clean and well equipped . I would highly recommend this property. The owner Kristin has lived here most of her life and has a wealth of knowledge on Maui that she will readily share.   this property was amazing. Had everythign we needed. Felt like we were at home in paradise. All the toys for the ocean, coolers, everythign was perfect. I would definatley recommend this property. The accomidations were great. Clean, owner and staff were very accomidaitng. great location and the price was very very competative for what you had access to. Keihi was great to stya in a very close to everything we wanted to do. We will definately stay here again on our next visit!!!!!

  My daughter was married on Maui on December 2, 2012. During our 8 day stay we rented the Plantation House. It was an awesome place for our family to spread out and enjoy the sights of Maui. I would highly reccommend anyone looking for a quite place where you relax as well as have everything you could need at your fingertips. We spent a lot of time on the front porch visting. Thank you for the wonderful getaway!

  This is such a lovely place with too many amenities to list-go to the site. The decor is impeccable, lighting has been considered carefully with extra care given to all areas of interest. You have all equipment you need to make your stay fun and adventure filled. Things that travelers often find time confusing and frustrating are done. Things like personal cooler, laundry items, make-up mirror, lovely return from beach bathrrom that is better decorated than the one I have at home. There are three accomodations available tailored to fit any needs. We stayed in the 2 bdrm cottage, in front is the courtyard with bar-b-que patio table & chairs and a large hot tub. Left of the cottage is a large home with a smaller studio in front. The courtyard is fashioned in such a way that privacy is noted however if one chose it is ideal for get togethers for guests and friends with lovely outdoor lighting. The decor in the cottage was well thought out with consideration to art, space, comfort and lighting. Eco and energy mindful was a boon to find including information on recycling on the island and bins well placed for convenient use. Each bedroom has a/c and ceiling fans are in each area of the house. The lanai (deck) is spacious and what I liked a bunch was there is a spot off to it's own with a lamp, table, fan (can you believe that) and a personal trash for those who indulge in smoking. I found it my favorite spot for early morning quiet time gathering thoughts and then make a plan to get out there and HAVE FUN!! The owner has a property manager but is nearby to resolve any questions that may arise and you might get a visit from the owner who we found to be a friendly and warm person. One can see that this is far more than income, this is a place that is loved and well cared for. That speaks volumes to me-one of the reasons we have no interest in staying anywhere else while visiting Maui. The ONLY (if you read it in other reviews) drawback is some noise around the neighborhood and traffic. One must remember that these folks live here and we are visiting-besides you can close your windows and enjoy the quiet with some a/c if needed-so CASE CLOSED- YOU REALLY WANT TO CHECK THIS OUT we were very satisfied with the warmth of the owner, the wonderful cottage and of course, Maui. Oh, just before we arrived the kitchen had been remodeled, beautiful counters, gas stove, dishwasher and lots of cooking utensils. I could say more but space is out-love it!!!!
