Stayed in October for almost a week, the fall colors were beautiful. The lake was serene and quiet, a perfect getaway. The cabin is perfect - beautiful woodwork, perfectly laid out. The views are terrific. The owners left homemade muffins and s'mores stuff in a basket, really thoughtful! They are wonderful people. The cabin is far enough away from town that its perfectly quiet, yet only maybe 10 minutes away from grocery and big box stores, and the highway for those traveling. I was born and grew up in this town, but I never knew that part of the lake existed. I will be back in the spring for another week, and probably many times again.

Such a serene and beautiful place. We were able to relax and enjoy our children. The lake was plenty of entertainment, but we enjoyed all the a cabin has to offer as well. We had movie night each night with popcorn, juice boxes, and laughs. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us. Now for the loony drive back . Love and Peace!

Dear Joanna and Don, Your description in the rental ad of your cottage is exactly accurate! We knew that we would love staying here as soon as we read it and this week was exactly what we had hoped for. Every day has been perfect and we only needed the A/c on two nights, but we were glad you had them available. The breeze through the trees and through the cottage made for luxurious sleeping. We kayaked all four lakes and snorkeled this one intensively. I lived north of here as a child and your place captures the essence of my memories of the lake life. Plainwell is a neat little town and we did a trip to Saugatuck and Holland as well. Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us and with so many others like them, we truly appreciate your personal touches and hospitality. R & R

Don and Joanna, Our stay simply could not have been better. The Cozy Cottage exceeded our expectations! Our 11 & 12 year old grandsons loved the Kayaks. We highly recommend a day at the Air Zoo. The kids rode the flight simulator 7 times. Suggest arriving early before it gets crowded. We took the rowboat along the Lake #4 shoreline fishing on Friday and couldn't keep fish off the hooks. It was amazing. Your hospitality and your "Cozy Cottage" made this feel like a 2nd home. We are making plans for next summer. Thank you! Guest

Don and Joanna, 6th annual Cozy Cottage vacation Thank you so much for the opportunity to enjoy the cozy cottage again this year. We had a great time. My boys enjoyed the books here and Matt was able to finish the Black Op book- all 784 pages! We had a beautiful 2 weeks and enjoyed every day but one on the boats and lake. The one day we could not enjoy outside because of Tornado warning, we spent inside playing board games and cards. Thanks again. The Evans :)

We enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cottage. Didn't spend too much time - had Mike's house at Sycamore point. We would definitely come back. It had all the accommodations we needed. Suggestion: better bathroom lighting (Forgot to tell the guest about the bathroom dimmer on the light).

Thank you for the memories. The moment we allowed ourselves to take a breath, smell the lake and just be here. Jumping from the raft, swimming to the middle of the lake, hearing our family splashing and laughing. We hope we visit this paradise again. Peace!

What a great 2 weeks. We had awesome weather and spent every day on the lake boating, tubing, and skiing. We entertained lots of family and friends over the last 2 weeks and everyone commented on what a wonderful lake and cottage this is. We have had 5 great years and are planning our 6th. We had a wonderful visit. This was our annual Grannie, daughter, granddaughter get away. We enjoyed feeding the fish corn, wadding in the water, eating on the deck. We visited Mooville in Nashville, Deer Farm in Coloma and Kalamazoo Air Zoo. We hope to have the opportunity to visit again.

The end of another wonderful vacation week at your cottage. It was so fun, despite the car trouble. We got pretty good at operating with no reverse. We couldn't have asked for better weather; we went swimming every single day. Among this years road trips we were up to the John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids and had a great time, especially petting the sting rays. We loved the visits from Boonz, he is such a nice dog. We had another great week at the cozy cottage. My kids loved swimming and catching turtles. We caught so many fish right of the dock. Even my 5 1/2 and 2 year old were catching lots of fish. We caught lots of Pike, a 4.5 lb. Bass off the dock and a 6 lb. Walleye out of the rowboat. We are once again very impressed with this cozy cottage. It is always very clean and relaxing. We made this cozy cottage our home away from home. It was better then what we dreamed. Our boys loved kayaking to the flag island and swimming to the floating raft, watching and catching the turtles. We also really enjoyed the pontoon we rented. Thanks again for the great time and memories.

Dear Jo an Don, Who would have thought there would be swimming in the lake this first weekend in October. With daytime highs in the mid 80's everyday, we were able to take advantage of the "cozy cottage" and everything it has to offer. My very first cast off the dock Friday evening brought in a pike. (Caught two) We loved the kayaks. Having a golf course close by was also a big plus. Hope to come back someday, you have made this place very cozy and relaxing.

Thanks for the hospitality and the directions to the hospital. :( Cottage was comfortable as the name implies "cozy". Loved swimming in the lake and we all enjoyed fishing. Don and Joanna, Being a "beach girl" I wasn't sure how I would take a whole week at a lake. But it was wonderful!! Jim spent many hours fishing as did Dusty and his friend Garrett. It was not a problem keeping the boys occupied-so much to do! We loved the kayaks-a first for all of us. You provided everything and more to make our stay an enjoyable one. PS The fresh flowere were such a nice touch. PPS I hate to take another page but... We so enjoyed the campfires on the beach ...the deck for morning coffee, lunch on the grill, evening meals.... added to our enjoyment ... lounge chairs were well used Thanks again for providing us with all we needed for a very relaxing time. What a wonderful week this has been - a perfect transition between my hospital stay and home. The cottage was more than adequate for our family. The grandchildren had so much fun at the beach-even the 2 yr. old swam to the raft and jumbed off! I would highly recommend this Cozy Cottage for a relaxing time. Elaine and Wayne
