This property was absolutely sub-par! It did not look the way it was advertised. The house was DIRTY!!! The ceiling in the master bathroom leaked when it rained. You couldn't sit on the toilet without getting dripped on. The cabinet doors in the kitchen were falling off. The washer wouldn't put out anything but scalding hot water so you couldn't wash anything but white clothes. The kitchen was not fully equipped. There were no mixing bowls at all. The refridgerator barely kept anything cold no matter what setting you put it on, and the house was always hot because the air conditioning wasn't keeping it cool either. Their was no remote for one of the bedroom TVs and the one for the living room didn't work. We definitely left this place cleaner than when we came in so you're welcome to whoever stayed there after us! Would never EVER rent this place again!

Owner response:To your surprise I just checked in the day you left. The kitchen cabinet doors WERE NOT FALLING OFF or even loose! The washer was just repaired and I washed with cold water - (you did not have it adjusted correctly). When you open the refrig ALOT - it's hard to stay COLD - we had NO PROBLEM! When the temperature is 95- 102 degrees outside the air conditioner always is running.plus fans; There is a remote in ALL bedrooms they were misplaced...and the BATTERIES were run down - we replaced them from the OL store - size AAA. We DO have a manager to ltaking care of our place -before and after each renter. ALSO someone broke our FUTON frame and I had to replace it.- - SO WE DO GET ABUSE from renters TOO - We have never had anyone to COMPLAIN so much. You have to remember - things do wear and tear from renters and need replaced and they do get replaced ! You just happen to be there when a strong rainy storm blew in - SORRY - so our site is just NOT what you wanted - you will just need to pay MORE money next time - BUT HOW ABOUT THE VIEW! Did you enjoy the LAKE and the location??

We were well pleased with the site. Being on the lake was fabulous. We had ducks and a large white swan that kept us company. The granddaugher really liked them. We rented a golf car and went all around the campground. The beach, swimming area and recreation area were just minutes away. The rental was clean and well furnished. The back porch was great. It is private being off the main road and was quiet. We definitely will be back, hopefully this fall. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a nice, clean site within short distance of all the activities. Thanks Cheryl.

Good Morning Cheryl: We would like to rent MH-2 again this year for June 12-19-2010. We have been looking for 10 yrs. for what was the perfect place for us at Ocean Lakes and I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your house last year. It was great for MaMa to be able to sit on the deck and watch the ducks etc.

Our family enjoyed our stay at MH2 in June. The home is in a great location for a family with Children. My son and his friend enjoyed fishing in the lake every afternoon. We will definitely rent this house again if it is available.

Thank you for letting us stay in your home. It was beautifully decorated and we all loved the screened in porch. I have strict orders that I have to rent it again for next year! Everyone loved it! Let me know when you start booking for 2007. I would love to rent the house again. We left fish/duck food on the porch that the next renters enjoy using as much as we did.

Our family just returned from a stay at Ocean Lakes Campground, site MH-2. The cabin was very clean, roomy, and in a great location right on the lake. We enjoyed several meals on the back screened poarch. My daughters enjoyed feeding the ducks and my son Caught lots of fish including a 5.5 lb bass right in the back yard. Cheryl, (owner), was extremely easy to work with and we would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our Easter vacation! Ocean Lakes is our favorite vacation spot. It is so relaxing, but also has something for the entire family. We really enjoyed this rental property. It had plenty of room and it was very bright and clean. The screened in back porch was wonderful and I'm sure in the hot summer months, you wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The site is a perfect location, it's right on the lake and a great place for kids to play and ride their bikes. We just have one suggestion, it would be better if you leveled up the back part of the double wide. It tends to go downhill a bit. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! Owner response:Thanks for the positive feedback, always like to hear from the renters who enjoy Ocean Lakes and our rental.On the suggestion to level the back part of the mobile home, we have had the structure raised quite a bit from the condition it was in when we purchased it without damaging any other parts of the home. We continue improving the home as renters comment. But our main goal is to keep our rental clean,comfortable, and acceptable to our guests. Thanks

my family and I just stayed here for a weekend. We had a blast. My children loved feeding the ducks from the back yard and my six year old caught her first fish right in the back yard. My husband and I loved the screened back porch the most. There was so much to do in the campground itself. We never had to leave. It was just the perfect place for our family. This is a very nice spacious mobile home with large closets. The screened in porch overlooking the lake was my favorite part of the house. The furnishings appear new and are very bright and cheerful. We would like to stay here again! The owners are very prompt and courteous...thank you Cheryl.
