I had a brilliant experience, because I felt that I had all the comforts of home in a beautiful surrounding. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and full of light with the most amazing views. The standards were very high in terms of cleanliness. The decor was beautiful and the housekeeping was excellent. My favourite place is the beach and all the little bars alongside it. In particular the Fisherman's Beach was my favourite place; only a few minutes walk from the apartment. I felt very well cared for by both the owner and housekeeper. I would definitely recommend this property to friends, relatives and anyone travelling to Jamaica, as I had such a great experience.

Turtle Beach Towers

We recently returned from Ocho Rios staying in two apartments at TBT. We were met at the airport as promised and taken to Ochee by a friendly, reliable driver, Rene. While we were a little dismayed at the overall changes in Ocho Rios, the apartment was everything as advertised. The apartment was large, clean, and well maintained - and cool enough for American standards. We enjoyed meeting Milllicent, the housekeeper. TBT is conveniently located across the street from Marguaritaville, the Taj Mahal and Harbor Shops, and on the beach. Walking to town means walking out the back gate! Security was good and we will come again.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I stayed here with my 3 year old son and my husband. The owner greeted us and immediately I was impressed by her friendly yet professional manner. The customer service was brilliant. The accommodation was located in the best place ever as we were in easy reach to all the attractions. The apartment was very clean and relaxing with a fantastic view of the town, a and swimming pool. I would recommend this place to couples, singles, small family, and we will be staying here when we return on holiday. We absolutely loved it.

We stayed with my girlfriend in this apartment for 2 weeks in October 2010. The apartment was gorgeous and very comfortable with everything you could possibly need with very good air conditioning as it was very hot in Ocho Rios. There are great views from the balcony with the sea to the left and the mountains to the right. Millicent the housekeeper came in every other day and did a thorough clean and changed bedding/replaced towels etc. We also had free access to Turtle Beach, which was literally just outside the apartments, 2 minutes walk away. A long sandy stretch of beach and the sea was so warm it was like stepping in to a big warm bath! There was refreshments available, toilets, watersports and boat trips if you fancied it. We visited Nine Mile, Bob Marley’s final resting place. The drive to Nine Mile was almost as fascinating as the Bob Marley Mausoleum. There is everything you could possibly need within walking distance of the apartment i.e. supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The security at the apartments was fantastic and we often saw the security guards patrolling the grounds all throughout the night. We felt very safe and secure. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner of the apartments as she had come over to put the finishing touches to her second apartment in the opposite towers and we were also lucky enough to be given a sneak preview and we were very impressed, it was amazing and very luxurious and it was lovely. The owner Kenita was very helpful and gave us lots of info and advice on where to go. All in all it was the holiday of a lifetime and I would certainly not hesitate in recommending staying in this apartment to anyone going to Ocho Rios. We hope to return.

I holiday'd to jamaica in august last year with my 2 little girls. Unsure of my location because i'd not been to ochi before was really pleasently surprised. When we arrived at the apartment we got a warm welcome and a good nights sleep. The apartments as lovely as its pictures and the locations great. The kids loved every minute of it and cant wait to go back. thanks kenita. X

The apartment was clean and decorated nicely. Omar, the maintenance man, was very friendly and kindly provided his company whenever we wanted to go out. This was very helpful as we were 2 women traveling alone. Being that my friend and I love Jamaican food we asked Millicent, the housekeeper, to cook for us twice, which she did for a small fee. She was very friendly and chatted with us whenever we saw her. Her cooking was excellent! We felt right at home. What I loved most about the place was its location. Everything is within walking distance. Down the street to the right is Dunns River Falls and Mystic Mountain. Down the street to the left is busy downtown Ocho Rios which has grocery stores, restaurants, shopping centers and salons among other things.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

our holiday at Turtel Towers

We stayed at this apartment for 3 weeks and from the moment we made enquires via the owner (Kenita) we were extremley impressed. She was answered our emails really quickly and when we enquired if the apartment was suitable for a family with a young 3 year old child she assured us it was and she was right. Our daughter loved swimming in the pool just below the apartment window, she adored the beach which is right outside the complex gate and loved the childrean's play area-she was very really happy each day and so were we. The apartment is excellent, spacious, clean, well decorated and has all the mod cons including sky TV. The kitchean was well equipped, perfect for us as we cooked quite a lot but when we did'nt feel like cooking there are lots of resturants close by, recommend Fisherman beach-lobster and fish freshly caught-suberb! the apartment has a small and freindly staff group who mantain the apartment to a very high standard, a light bulb blew one evening and we called Omar who is a really lovely, polite young man, he came and replaced it within 30 mins-we were impressed! The complex is within easy reach of everything, the beach, town, nightlife, market, Dunns River (a must for everyone, old and young) We hired a car and felt safe leaving it in the car park each night as the complex as 24 hours security. We have lots of family who live in St Anns, so it was brillent being able to visit but also great having Mama and Papa over for a meal cooked by us instead of taking them to a resturant. We then went out clubbing while they read their granddaughter bed time stories, tucked her up in bed and went to bed themselves throughly enjoying watching sky TV in bed (the bedroom has a TV on the wall) We loved this apartment so much that we have booked it again for December 2010 to stay in when we return to Ocho for our wedding!

My friends and I had a great stay at the Apartment and had one of our best holidays to date. The apartment was decorated and maintained to a high standard, clean and very spacious. The maintenance staff and the owner (Kenita) were on hand in the event of us needing assistance, which made our stay even more comfortable. There were information packs in the apartment about key places to visit, more on Ocho Rios to ordering breakfast to be delivered, which was great for our lazy mornings. The owner provided in advance all the documentation required and had keys waiting for us at reception on arrival. The whole process was smooth which made our holiday hassle free. As part of our stay we were offered assistance with travel to and from the airport, which I thought was a great touch and we received occasional check in calls during our stay. Overall an excellent and reliable customer service. The apartment is set in beautiful grounds with a freshwater pool, helpful and friendly staff. We felt very welcome! The views from the apartment are also amazing and great for holiday pictures. Surrounded by a bustling Main Street where we found everything we could possibly want and need for our holiday. We were provided with a map of the area, which was very handy. It highlighted the abundance of options at our finger tips and we were keen not to miss out on anything. We tried some local cuisine such as Fisherman’s Beach where fresh seafood is served and made use of the well known restaurants- Hard Rock, Evita, bars- I recommend the Bob Marley cocktail, Karoke on Wednesdays and the famous Margarita Ville, where we partied having spent a day of sunbathing at the beach. The private beach was only 3 minutes walk away and was ideal for unwinding, seeing the cruise ships drifting in and taking in the coastline sun. The staff on the beach were very friendly and ensured we were well looked after. There were many local taxis around where we travelled to sightsee and explore Jamaica. We visited places such as Ocho, Nine Mile, and one of the biggest attractions-Dunn’s river Falls, Dolphin’s Cove being nearby to the apartment. I would recommend this holiday to anyone looking for a pleasurable, cost effective and exciting time away with friends or family. I am planning my next stay with friends, who will be visiting Jamaica for the first time and I am certain that they will have a fab time!

This property was an excellent location in Ochi Rios. The apartment was clean and tidy upon arrival. The hosts Omar and the house keeper, Mrs Gabbidon were both very welcoming. I travelled with my daughter and friend and we had an excellent time. Kenita the owner of the apartment was on point and ensured I had everything I needed. She even called through my duration of my stay to ensure that everything was statisfactory. The apartment has a pool downstairs and the beach is 2 mins walk from there. I would defo recommend this apartment. Although it is one bedroom they have two single beds and the sofas in the living area are the width of a single bed therefore 4 people can easily sleep in there. I have travelled to Jamaica on many occasions but I must say this was one of my best holidays as the apartment was perfect which is obviously a major part of the holiday. Thanks to Kenita, Omar and Mrs Gabbidon the housekeeper. I would defo be back. xxx

The description & pictures of this apartment were accurate. It is well lit with natural daylight. There was plenty of space and a large balcony.The property was clean and well maintained apart from a few minor issues. From start to finsh the owner of this proprty (Kenita) was professional and curteous. We had a problem with the Fridge/Freezer and microwave not working as there was something wrong with the mains they were plugged into and she fixed the problem within a few hours of us letting her know, and that was on a Sunday! The location is perfect for those who want to be within walking distance of the Main Street/Town of Ocho Rios. Which is great because you save a bit of money of taxi fares. Most of the bars and nightclubs are very close and you have free access to the main beach (also within 1-2 minutes walk from the back of the apartment) which you can walk right down and view Sunset Jamaica Grande. The beach is beautiful and clean. You can do watersports from the beach, if you want to go Jet Skiing, Paragliding or do the Cool Runnings Trip to Dunns River ask for Maurice (Blue) or Curtis (Land Shark) they will look after you. Her driver Omar who we had pick us up from and drop us back to the airport was fantastic, he even made sure we had cold drinks in an ice box on collecting us. Overall this was the perfect base, I would recommend this apartment to my friends and family. Kenita also put a little pack together giving us some information about the area which was very helpful. I would stay here again.

At the time of my holiday, I was totally stressed, I needed a relaxing stay in a sunny climate. Ocho Rios, Jamaica was my destination. The apartment we stayed in, which was situated in a complex called Turtle Towers was immaculately decorated with self catering facilities and laundry service, there was a balcony with beautiful views across the grounds Turtle towers beach was literately minutes away. If you wanted to stay in the beautiful grounds there was an out side swimming pool. Turtle Towers is ideally placed for both day and evening activities, Duns River Falls was amongst the many excursions availiable. There were many local places to dine, I would definately recommend visiting fishermans beach the cuisine was excellent. I would definately recomm the apartment to a friend.

I chose to use the airport transfer service recommended by the owner and was picked up at the airport by Omar, who made me feel very welcome, on the journey to Ocho he pointed out places of interest, stopped so I could get a drink and was a good driver. I was very impressed with the apartment, spacious, well decorated, clean with all the mod cons, mirco-wave etc I loved having breakfast on the balcony with the clear blue sea to my left and the mountains to my right, very relaxing. Turtle Towers is in a fantastic spot, the beach is one minute walk and across the road is Island Village which has lots of good shops and a great nightclub which I higly recommend, we had some really good nights out and it was great simply walking across to road to fall into bed at the end of the night after one two many rum punches! Staying in Turtel Towers was perfect, 24 security, helpfull staff and as some locals live there I loved feeling apart of the community rather than just 'another tourist! There is so much to see and do locally which you can walk to, Hard Rock cafe across the road and a visit to Fishermans Beach around the cornea to the apartment is a must, excellent food! I will defintely be going back to stay in this apartment and have recommeded it to all my friends.
