I have stayed here several times, love the ocean views, quietness and friendly atmosphere from owners, vacationers and staff. Doesn't get any BETTER! The unit is clean, comfortable, quiet and you can't want for anything more, this unit has it all! I want to Thank Maui Condo and Home for great service and a big THANKS and THUMBS UP to Dan, you make it possible with great rates for us working poor to have a great vacation once a year and a great place to call home. If you want a 1500 room resort, large groups of noisy people, granite and stainless steel then you need to go elsewhere, if you want a small resort, comfort, clean unit, quiet and steps away from the ocean, turtles, seals, whales and sand and a place to call home than this unit is yours. (Just leave enough weeks for me!)

We stayed in this condo for 5 days and LOVED it! The Ocean View literally could not be better! No trees obstruct the view and it can be seen from the kitchen, the dining area, the Living room, and the lanai. It has the added advantage of having front door with a screen door that opens to the outside of one side of the building, and the Sliding glass doors that opened to the Ocean side of the building; so there was GREAT ventilation. We did not even need the fans. Aesthetically the furniture all looked nice and was in good condition and the bathroom was nice. The kitchen has older counters/cupboards but was excellently equipped with everything we needed for cooking our meals. The King sized bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and my kids slept on the softbed in the Living room and said that was comfortable, too. There are even coolers and beach chairs to use. There is no beach right at the property, but Kahana lies in between two of the best places for snorkeling which have amazing beaches: Black Rock in Kannapali and the beach at Kapalua which are literally just minutes away.. We loved the lanai which has chairs and the amazing ocean view...The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is that it doesn't have it's own beach and the aesthetics outside the unit (the building itself) is older and there is not much in the way of land/landscaping; but all is well maintained and there is a great bar BQ available for use on the ocean side of the property. The unit was clean and we would LOVE to stay there again. It was a WONDERFUL spot...we could not have beat it for the price the owner gave it to us for. Truly a blessing!

We loved our stay at Kahana Reef #313 from 5/16-5/26/2012. The description of the unit was very accurate. We found the unit very clean upon our arrival and the ocean view from the lanai is fantastic. The king size bed is so comfortable. The complex is small and quiet which was just what we were looking for. There is a small beach just a short walk away. Parking is convenient, laundry facilities were clean and the property manager does a great job overseeing the maintenance of the buildings and grounds. We went to Lahaina 3 times because of all the shops and restaurants and it's only 20 minutes. We would recommend a rental car. We would not hesitate to stay at Kahana Reef again.

We have stayed in this condo for the last two years, and will again this year. We love the view, the quiet, except for the wonderful sounds of the ocean. The condo is clean and well equipped, home away from home. Last year I brought my grown daughters, one from Norway and one from Alaska. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. Saw lots of turtles, and ate lots of good food from the deli up the street. Everything you might need within easy reach. You should try it!!

To all the staff of the Kahana Reef property... We want to say mahalo for the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It was our first trip to Maui and we have very much enjoyed the six days we've stayed here... Unit #313 was very clean and tidy upon our arrival and the ocean front view took our breath away.. We enjoyed eating breakfast out in the patio with the wonderful view outside...

Thank you soooooo much for letting us stay at your wonderful condo, #313. We got married on Sta. and arrived here on Sun. Even though we were exausted from the trip and distraught over the airline losing some of our luggage, when we walked into this condo, it took our breath away and brought me to tears. We really enjoyed the awesome view, the quiet relaxed atmosphere and the great location. The condo was so clean, well kept, and well stocked. We lacked for NOTHING... ! Thanks for a dream come true honeymoon. We hate to leave this paradise. ...

-- #313 is such a relaxing beautiful spot. We felt we could have stayed the entire time in the condo and around the Kahana Reef. #313 and the area are so nice you don't even need to rent a car... except for the drive to/from the airport... Whales were amazing everywhere.... we saw them for the lanai and while driving..... relaxing, sunny trip.... Tony, Ashley & baby Thor 2/27/05

-- We can't thank you enough for such a wonderful place to stay. We truly felt like we were guests in someone's home. We had all we needed for accommodations and then some..... What a great condo to simply relax and take a true vacation. Breakfast and dinners on the lanai with binoculars always close by for whale watching... Thanks for making #313 another highlight of our trip. Susan & Bob, Eden Prairie, MN 2/16/05
