  This condo was exactly as shown in the pictures. It has been maintained very well. Jacqueline was very nice and quick to respond when I had questions. The few things I commented on to her like needing end tables she had purchased the next week. One of the patio chairs ripped when we were there and she also replaced that the next week. They had just purchased a new sectional for the living room that doesn't have a pull out bed so it now sleeps 4. I think it's perfect for a family of 4 with younger kids with the bunks in the hallway. Our kids were older and we didn't have the space they are used to but it really wasn't a big deal. The view and location made up for that tenfold! These condo's are a little older but this one was so nice with new furniture, nice flooring, and stylish decorating that made it feel welcoming and not generic. It was cooler when we were there but we still enjoyed the beach most days. The beach and ocean were absolutely beautiful. Loved the beach service. Spring break meant the beach was a little crowded but nowhere near as crowded as bigger resorts we have stayed at. No seaweed, just white sand and blue waters. When my kids got too cold in the ocean they headed for the heated pool and hot tub. Being across the street was a non issue for us. It is only a 2 lane and cars go slow and always stop for pedestrians. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking trail that goes by the property as we like to run in the mornings. Also my 16 and 14 year old could walk to a little beach shop or coffee shop. We have stayed at Fort Walton Beach previously and I definitely prefer this area over that side of Destin. You can walk to Pompano Joe's which we enjoyed the food and we took advantage of the beach side bar for happy hour drinks and smoothies for the kids. There is another beachside bar in walking distance near Captain Dave's which my son said had better smoothies:). The resort was full of families for spring break and it was a great atmosphere for our older kids to have friends they could swim with in the pool or play basketball. Yet it was not the crazy, spring break atmosphere of large high rise condo's with teenagers running everywhere. I would recommend this condo and resort to anyone!

  Great views of ocean and beach. One pool was very warm-kids loved it. Many good restaurants and other shopping within couple of miles' drive. Owner had changed accommodation by eliminating pull-out so only sleeps 4. Probably has now corrected her listing on VRBO. Owner was pleasant to deal with. Would recommend property.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

  Owner response: We removed the outdated sleeper sofa and replaced it with a brand new super comfortable queen size automatic retractable bed. The condo can still sleep 6 comfortably!

  Again we thoroughly enjoyed Maravilla 2413. (We've been in this exact unit before.) It is in the perfect place for viewing, beach activities, dining and shopping. A corner, top floor unit means it is very quiet. Our pets loved it, too, looking down over the pool and out toward the ocean. We appreciated the complimentary beach equipment. The owner is very responsive. (We had a little problem with the sliding glass door sticking and it was fixed right away.) All in all, it was great!

  Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, sightseeing, age 55+.

  This unit was fabulous! It was very clean and suited our needs perfectly. The location and the view was perfect. I would definately reccommend this unit and the location to anyone vacationing in Destin. Definately get your money's worth ! We will be back next year, we go to Destin every year and staying in Maravilla can't be beat. The owner of this unit made the entire procecess painless from the beginning to the end. So next time you are looking for a great location to travel with family I highly suggest Maravilla and this unit. The view is fabulous! We saw dolphins every single day. The crabshack was delicious but the wait is pretty long, so if you don't mind waiting then go for it. We found Chinese Dynasty, the best chinese food ever! Destin Commons-great place to shop.

  My twin 12 yr old daughters and my Wife had one of the most pleasureable visits to the beach. The unit was clean and well equiped. The unit owner is very activie in ensuring everything is pleasurable. From contracting to questions this was a wonderfully run business and I was so impressed with the kindness this unitowner exibits.Thankyou for allowing us to enjoy your wonderful condo. We recommend this as a vacation unit for others and will be returning.

  I was hesitant to book a condo in a location that I had never before visited and had no references from family or friends. This condo did not disappoint. Everything Jackie says this condo is it truly is. It is beautifully decorated and feels like home. It is immaculately clean and the most well stocked condo I have ever stayed in. It is newly painted and no carpet which is a real plus in a beach enviornment. The beds are clean and very comfortable including the bunk beds and sleeper sofa. Everything is very neat and organized. The balcony view is beautiful and has aperfect pool view. This was also a very quiet area. After travelling 18 hours and arriving late in the evening it was wonderful to walk into a room and have everything exactly as I hoped. The pictures are exactly the way the condo looks. The flatscreen in the bedroom was a real plus for my youngest at bedtime. The children all enjoyed the Wii when taking breaks from the sun or in the evening, more than they do at home! Jackie was wonderful to work with especially in allowing us a partial week rental to attend a friend's wedding. She also called after our arrival and departure to make sure we were happy with the unit. I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a spotless condo and great views. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I ever return to the area.

  We had an amazing time. Great view and location. Perfect for family with young kids. This was our third time to stay at this property and it gets better every time! Owners are easy to work with and take great care to be sure you have the best stay possible. We will come back year after year!

  05/24/10 Positive One of the nicest compliments a rental transaction can have is, "Just as advertised." That's what we found at the Jenna's condo. 4th (top) floor and corner unit mean - very quite. Gulf view couldn't be better. This is our most favorite section of Destin beach. The corner unit also got a delightful breeze when out for morning coffee. A real gem here, folks.
