The family cottage is right in the heart of Glen Arbor. Only half block from Lake Michigan and half block from the main activities of town. Ride bikes or walk to the kid’s park to play tennis, basketball or enjoy a short walk (300 steps) to Lake Michigan beach and enjoy the lake and watch the beautiful sunsets. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in town. Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Lakes and Crystal River and hiking trails. Short drive to the National Park.
The cottage has three bedrooms/two baths/family room/porch. Accommodates 6. Upper level has King bed in the master loft, with walk-in closet and upstairs bath. Main level has front porch and family room, kitchen, second bathroom and two bedrooms with bunk beds (full bed on the bottom & twin bed on top) perfect for kids of all ages. The cottage has air conditioning, fire pit and gas grill. Linens and towels provided. Non-smoking. No pets. Summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Weekends are two night minimum during the off-season.
In Glen Arbor you can enjoy the outdoor activities of swimming in the lakes, canoeing or kayaking the Crystal river, hiking the trails of Sleeping Bear Dunes, taking a boat out on the Glen Lakes. Enjoy a short walk to the beach in evening with incredible sunsets. While staying at the cottage you can take advantage of the farmers' market during the week, grocery store close by, restaurants all within walking distance. Shop the famous Cherry Republic for some snacks and take in the art of the galleries or take a short drive to neighboring Leland or Empire.

Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: We have been vacationing in Glen Arbor for the last 20 years…. Loved the area and always wanted to be up here for the summer. Purchased the cottage with convenience of Lake Michigan beach and the location of being in Glen Arbor. We have had many good times during the summer and used the cottage during the winter for skiing.
