  Description was accurate. It was spotless, light and airy, tastefully decorated, better than the photos. Everything felt new. The amenities were so thoughtful. View from balcony included beach in the distance, lagoon, seagulls, and you can smell the ocean. Mimi was so sweet and attended to our every need. We were pleased with everything. It was nearby lots of things to do. We found many restaurants in the area including a wonderful German bakery (the lemon strudel was amazing!) You do need to know that there is no elevator.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  After a long day of fishing at PINS, this was a great place for my wife and I to relax comfortabley!!

  We stayed the month of February, and enjoyed the condo and the excellent location. Everything was as described and pictured. The interior was super clean and fresh. The unit appeared to have been recently re-furbished entirely as everything sparkled and was tastefully done. Everything was ready to move in, and I mean it was all there! Mimi saw that even extra things that normally are not furnished, were included.(paper products, condiments, coffee etc) All the appliances were top notch and new. The things like coffee maker, toaster etc were name brand, no cheapo junk here! Excellent towels and linens and having a washer & dryer in the condo was handy. The ocean view from the balcony was great, just a short walk to the beach. I would highly recommend this property and location.

  Wife & I spent 4 nights over the Christmas weekend at the Brassy Dolphin, without a doubt, one of the best furnished condo's on the island. We have become accustomed to staying at the finest luxury hotels when we travel; so it was quite a surprise upon arrival to find a condo that matches or exceeds the best lodging facilities in the area. From the tile flooring to the full kitchen, Mimi has thought of every possible amenity. My wife left her blow dryer & straight iron at home, but found them neatly stored in the bathroom for the guests. Want to go to the beach? Just grab a bag out of the closet with everything needed for your beach adventure. Feel like cooking? Although we found several good restaurants close by, the kitchen has everything needed and more. Will return again and honestly would not want to stay anywhere else but the Brassy Dolphin.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I had an awesome stay and enjoyed the Dollhouse condo. It felt like a home away from home with all the amenities and well kept, super clean condo. The photos and description were 100% accurate. It's walking distance from the beach and wonderful view of the marsh. I can't wait to return and enjoy another extended weekend.

  I just wanted to say the place was wonderful, felt right at home close to the beach. Me and my husband had a blast and plan on returning as soon as we can. Mimi you where the nicest person we have ever came across. We loved the German Bakery and your place was fully equiped with everything we needed or we forgot. It was just the best location and best vacation spot we have ever been too. Thanks Mimi for everything!!!!

  My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Brassy Dolphin condo for our twenty-first wedding anniversary. What a great place to stay while on Padre. It is close to the beach and with short driving distance to nice restaurants on the island. It is also a short drive back to Corpus for an even greater selection of restaurants. What we liked best about the condo is that it has everything imaginable for the kitchen. The tile floors really give the place a sparkle. The owner has done a great job in making the place feel like home. The only problem that I had was Internet access. I could not connect to the secure wi-fi service that is provided by the complex. Alternatives were available, so this was not a big deal for us. The neighbors in the other condos were very friendly. This was an experience we will not forget and we will definitely come back again.

  My stay at the Brassy Dolphin was excellent, starting with the yummy welcoming pastries upon arrival. The listing description and accompanying pictures accurately reflect the location and cuteness of the site. The condo was very clean, homey and well-appointed; dishes, pots/pans, coffee maker and Keurig machine. It is situated near the beach and comes with beach access parking permit. There is a reserved parking space as well, conveniently right in front of the condo. Mimi was soooo very helpful and all you could need for a day at the beach was readily available; beach chairs, coolers, towels, etc. This location was also close to the Padre Island National Seashore, which I visited twice. It is a safe neighborhood with great places to walk/run. I felt right at home and had such a restful stay and will absolutely stay again!

  What a wonderful time we had in our stay at The Brassy Dolphin while on Padre Island. Mimi was a very thoughtful hostess, ensuring that we had fresh pastries in the morning from the German bakery on the island. The rooms were tastefully decorated with beach theme furnishings... A beach bag with towels and beach chairs in the storage closet deck made going to the beach a breeze. The recently remodeled condo was nice to come home to after a hard day at the the beach or pool side. We have just had family move to Corpus Christi and plan to stay at the Brassy Dolphin when we come to visit again.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing.
